摘要: A plurality of image transmitting apparatuses are connected to the image transmitting side of a transmission line, a plurality of image receiving apparatuses are connected to the image receiving side of the transmission line, and a plurality of logical channels are set on the transmission line. A predetermined logical channel is fixedly allotted to each image receiving apparatus, and each image transmitting apparatus is provided with a function of transmitting an image to an image receiving apparatus through any logical channel. Each image transmitting apparatus transmits an image to a designated image receiving apparatus through a predetermined logical channel.

摘要: A lighting device includes a plurality of self-luminous elements formed on a substrate and emitting different wavelengths of light from each other, a hemispherical lens structure formed on the substrate to cover the self-luminous elements, and a plurality of translucent spherical particles covering a surface of the lens structure. Light emitted from the self-luminous elements passes through the lens structure and enters the translucent spherical particles where its direction is largely inclined to scatter due to a difference in refractive index between the translucent spherical particles and air. Consequently, different wavelengths of light from the self-luminous elements are mixed to produce a desired color of light.

摘要: A clock information transmitting device coupled to a digital processing circuit which receives a transmission signal and generates a coded transmission signal includes a PLL circuit for generating a first signal and a sampling clock signal, both being synchronized with a synchronizing signal in the transmission signal. The sampling clock signal is used in the digital processing circuit. A clock information generating part counts pulses of a transmission clock signal and generates clock information indicating a number of pulses of a transmission clock signal in response to one of the synchronizing signal and the first signal generated by the PLL circuit. A multiplexer outputs a multiplexed signal including the clock information and the coded transmission signal to a transmission path.

摘要: A magneto-optic storage media is provided with two defect information blocks for storing information concerning a defect. At the time of reproduction, both the blocks are read, and it is determined whether or not the reading operation is normal. If the reading operations of both the blocks are normal, it is determined which of the respective numbers= of registrations of the information concerning a defect stored in both the blocks is larger so that the block in which the number of registrations is larger is utilized. Then, the defect information in the block which was not employed is updated and registered with the defect information. if the defect information is not registered, the block is switch so that an updating and registering operation can be executed again.

摘要: An image processing device determines, based on an IP address received from an external device, whether any processing according to information received from the external device should be performed or not. A path of communication with the external device is examined from a network address. When the external device that is a transmission source of information is an external device outside a predetermined range, specifically, for example, when the external device is an external device connected to a communication network that is further external to the communication network connected to the image processing device, the image processing device inhibits any processing that follows an image data processing command received from the external device. The image processing device also inhibits any processing that follows a command of adjusting the image processing device which command is received from outside the predetermined range.
