摘要: An actuator includes housing having a reciprocation axis, drive gear configured to couple to the motor, and electromagnetic clutch configured to couple to the motor and coupled to the drive gear. The clutch engages first and second clutch plates responsive to being powered and disengages the clutch plates responsive to not being powered. Actuator includes a ball screw including a nut and a threaded shaft. The nut is coupled to the drive gear and rotation of the drive gear induces rotation of the nut about the reciprocation axis. Rotation of the nut induces motion of the threaded shaft along the reciprocation axis. Actuator includes a fluid damper having a piston coupled to the threaded shaft and disposed within a chamber containing a fluid. Piston includes a port that couples a first chamber portion to a second chamber portion. A brake assembly limits rotation of the nut responsive to the assembly being engaged.

摘要: This disclosure relates to shaker adjustments based on sensor measurements for sensors positioned at different locations about the shaker. This disclosure explains techniques to adjust a shale shaker as would be used to separate particulates (cuttings and other solids) from drilling fluid (commonly referred to as “mud”) during a drilling operation. Empirical models have been formulated to provide for programming a controller to calculate run-time adjustments to the shaker to increase efficiency. The controller may control one or more shakers concurrently. Different techniques and measurement types may be used concurrently to achieve desired shaker inclination and maintain a proper beach location during operation. Sensors include accelerometers, proximity sensors, and other types of data acquisition devices that may be used to detect motion parameters of an operational (e.g., in-use and running) shaker.

The connection may also include a pin end configured for rotationally and longitudinally engaging the box end. The pin end may include a tapered portion configured for longitudinal insertion into the receiving portion and resisting relative rotation between the box end and the pin end. The pin end may also include a collar configured for sleeving over the engagement portion of the box end and resisting relative longitudinal motion between the box end and the pin end.
