摘要： The issue of the present invention is to provide a disazo pigment in which the polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) content in addition to the primary aromatic amine (PAA) content is reduced. The present invention provides a pigment composition containing a disazo pigment, an alkylamine that has an alkyl group having a carbon number of 8 or more, and a poly(oxyethylene) alkyl ester that has an alkyl group having a carbon number of 8 or more. Preferably, the disazo pigment includes at least one disazo pigment selected from a group consisting of C.I. Pigment Yellow 83, C.I. Pigment Yellow 13, and C.I. Pigment Yellow 14.

摘要： Provided is an aqueous dispersion of colored particles suitable for colorants for writing instrument inks, inkjet inks, painting materials, aqueous coatings, and the like. The aqueous dispersion of colored particles includes a polymer having at least a unit of a monomer derived from a dye having a polymerizable unsaturated group. The monomer derived from the dye is preferably derived from the compound represented by General Formula (1) below:

摘要： An aqueous penetrating ink includes a pigment and a water-soluble dye. The ink also includes a humectant in which the water-soluble dye is to be at least partially dissolved. The humectant is present in the ink between 20 percent by weight and 70 percent by weight. This amount of humectant results in a slow evaporation rate. The ink also includes water, making it suitable for use with some inkjet printers. Because the pigment is not dissolved in the humectant or the water, it forms an image on the surface of a printed side of a substrate. The slow evaporation rate of the humectant allows it to carry the ink through a thickness of a substrate so that it is visible on a non-printed side of the substrate.
