摘要: The present disclosure is directed towards a method and a system for monitoring the performance of an electrochemical cell stack. Monitoring can be performed remotely by measuring the voltage across the stack, and comparing the measured values to predetermined reference values to determine the condition of the stack. Monitoring of the stack voltage enables detection of performance decay, which in turn enables preemptive repair of the stack prior to catastrophic failure.

摘要: A tank-type power generation device capable of manufacturing high-pressure hydrogen installed in a fuel cell vehicle, which utilizes the hydrogen in order to generate power and can reduce the manufacturing cost of the vehicle without need for a separate fuel cell, and a fuel cell vehicle. A partition member partitions the interior of a tank main body into two sections, and includes a solid polymer electrolyte membrane in contact with the individual sections. A supply means can switch water and a gas containing oxygen to supply it to one section. An electrolytic power generation means includes electrodes on both membrane surfaces and when the water is supplied by the supply means, it can perform electrolysis by applying a voltage between the electrodes to store hydrogen gas in one section and when the gas containing oxygen is supplied, it can generate power by reacting the gas with the hydrogen gas.

摘要: The invention relates essentially to an electrical insulation and sealing surround for distributing gases in a high temperature steam electrolyzer of SOEC type or in a fuel cell of SOFC type. According to the invention, some of the functions of sealing, distributing gases and providing electrical insulation between interconnectors are grouped together within one and same component in the form of a surround made of electrically insulating material, the recessed zones of which serve to support the actual sealing gaskets, making them easier to use and to maintain.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a method and system for dynamically controlling seal decompression. The method includes monitoring a set of parameters associated with an operation of a seal, wherein the set of parameters includes a maximum pressure subjected to the seal and an exposure time at the maximum pressure, calculating a target pressure ramp down rate based on at least one of the maximum pressure and the exposure time, and decreasing a pressure about the seal at a decompression rate that is based on the target pressure ramp down rate. The system includes a controller having a memory device, a graphical user interface, at least one pressure transmitter configured to monitor the pressure about the seal, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to detect a maximum exposure pressure and exposure time at maximum pressure about the seal and control a pressure ramp down about the seal based on the maximum exposure pressure and the exposure time detected in order to prevent explosive decompression of the seal.

摘要: A starting method includes determining whether a depressurizing current was supplied to a water electrolyzer while at least a cathode side of the water electrolyzer was depressurized in an immediately previous stop of a water electrolysis system after electrolyzing water. A first current is supplied to the water electrolyzer at a first supply rate to start the water electrolysis system in a case where it is determined that the depressurizing current was supplied to the water electrolyzer in the immediately previous stop. A second current is supplied to the water electrolyzer at a second supply rate lower than the first supply rate to start the water electrolysis system in a case where it is determined that the depressurizing current was not supplied to the water electrolyzer in the immediately previous stop.
