    摘要: A method of artificial neural network computations, including: receiving image data having pixel values; generating, from the pixel values, a column of inputs to a set of artificial neurons; identifying a region of memory cells of the integrated circuit device having threshold voltages programmed to represent a weight matrix for the set of artificial neurons; instructing voltage drivers in the integrated circuit device to apply voltages to the region of memory cells according to the column of inputs; obtaining, based on the region of memory cells responsive to the applied voltages, a first column of data from an operation of multiplication and accumulation applied on the weight matrix and the column of inputs; and applying activation functions of the set of artificial neurons to the first column of data to generate a second column of data representative of outputs of the set of artificial neuron.

    摘要: Image sensors for Phase-Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) are provided. An image sensor includes a pixel including a plurality of photodiodes disposed in a semiconductor material according to an arrangement. The arrangement defines a first image subpixel comprising a plurality of first photodiodes, a second image subpixel comprising a plurality of second photodiodes, and a third image subpixel including a plurality of third photodiodes, and a phase detection subpixel comprising a first photodiode, a second photodiode, or a third photodiodes. The pixel can include a plurality of first micro-lenses disposed individually overlying at least a subset of the plurality of photodiodes of the first, second and third image subpixels. The pixel can also include a second micro-lens disposed overlying the phase detection subpixel, a first micro-lens of the first micro-lenses having a first radius less than a second radius of the second micro-lens.

    摘要: A photodetector array (PDA) system includes metal traces. A dielectric passivation layer defines a front side of a stack. An absorption layer is on a back side of the stack relative to the dielectric passivation layer. An array of pixels is included, each having a respective diffusion feature between the dielectric passivation layer and the absorption layer. The diffusion features are operatively connected to the absorption layer for photodetection. A metal trace runs between respective diffusion features. The metal trace is at a depth in the stack closer to the front side of the stack than the absorption layer. The dielectric passivation layer electrically insulates the metal trace from a front side surface of the stack.
