摘要: A tubular structure (21) composed mainly of a sheet material (22) formed from a thickened solution of an ultraviolet-curing resin in which high-strength fibers are dispersed, is inserted into a pipeline (7) so as to face a damaged part (26) thereof, is expanded into intimate contact with the inner surface of the pipeline (7), and is irradiated with ultraviolet light on its inner surface, whereby the resin is cured. Sealing members (24, 24') capable of swelling with water are fitted about the opposite end portions of the tubular structure (21) so that the sealing members (24, 24') may be located on the opposite sides of the damaged part (26) of the pipeline (7) from each other.

摘要: A canopy for a paraglider or a parachute. The canopy including upper and lower sides and a plurality of ribs extending between the sides and made of a mesh cloth. The upper and lower sides and the ribs define a plurality of cells which are arranged adjacent one another. Each of the cells has an opening at a front end thereof for introducing air into the canopy. The mesh cloth of the ribs includes large and small apertures disposed therein. According to one embodiment, either the large or the small apertures are arranged in matrix-like groups which are separated from one another by the other of the large and small apertures. According to another embodiment, the large and small apertures are disposed in groups which are arranged parallel to one another in the vertical direction.

摘要: A tubular lining material and a method and apparatus for manufacturing same, the tubular lining material being suitable for reinforcing pipe lines and comprising a tubular textile jacket having on the external surface thereof a coating of plural synthetic resins in the form of laminated layers, characterized in that the outermost layer of the coating is composed exclusively or predominantly of a thermoplastic polyester elastic resin and the innermost layer of the coating is composed exclusively or predominantly of a thermoplastic polyurethane elastic resin, the coating having been bonded superficially onto the external surface of the tubular textile jacket. The tubular lining material is manufactured by simultaneously extruding plural synthetic resins in an annularly layered form superficially onto the external surface of the tubular textile jacket, using an apparatus provided with an annularly arranged multiple extruders. The tubular lining material is significantly improved in flexibility and adhesion to the tubular textile jacket.

摘要: A method and apparatus for providing the inner surface of a pipe with a flexible tubular lining material through a liquid resin under pressure which comprises fixing one end of a flexible tubular lining material in such manner that the flexible tubular lining material is turned inside out at the fixed end to an annular fastener of a connecting assembly connected in the front thereof to a pipe to be treated and thereafter applying fluid pressure to the annular fastener from the rear of the assembly to push the tubular lining material forward within the pipe while effecting evagination of the tubular lining material at the same time at the top of the proceeding tubular lining material thereby attaching the inner surface of the tubular lining material exposed by evagination under pressure tightly to the inner surface of the pipe, characterized by previously forming a reservoir of the liquid resin enclosed in the interior of the unevaginated portion of the tubular lining material positioned in the rear of the annular fastener, applying the liquid resin onto the inner surface of the tubular lining material passing through the reservoir while applying external fluid pressure to the portion of the tubular lining material where the reservoir is formed, squeezing the tubular lining material externally to adjust the quantity of the liquid resin applied onto the inner surface thereof and thereafter attaching the liquid resin-applied inner surface of the tubular lining material onto the inner surface of the pipe under pressure to form a flexible lining on the inner surface of the pipe with the liquid resin being interposed therebetween. This method is advantageously utilized for preventing leakage of various kinds of gas and liquid from pipes caused by the formation of cracks and/or pinholes therein as well as electric leakage caused by intrusion of water through cracks and/or pinholes formed in a casing or pipe enclosing electric wires.

摘要: An airbag device configured to be disposed in front of an occupant in a vehicle includes: an inflator configured to generate gas; an airbag that is folded and housed, the airbag being configured to be inflated and deployed by the gas generated by the inflator; and a holding member including an attachment portion to which the inflator is attached, and holding the folded airbag capable of being inflated and deployed from an occupant side opposite the attachment portion. The holding member includes an inhibiting portion that covers a part of the folded airbag from the occupant side and that is configured to partially inhibit initial inflation and deployment of the airbag. The inhibiting portion has a first region and a second region where inhibiting forces that inhibit the initial inflation and deployment are different from each other.

摘要: A side airbag device includes an inflator; and a bag-shaped airbag inflatable and deployable in response to a gas upon activation of the inflator. The airbag includes a torso protection portion inflatable and deployable in a space beside a torso of the occupant, a support portion provided on a console box side of the torso protection portion and configured to be pushed onto a top surface of the console box in an inflated and deployed state, and a hip protection portion inflatable and deployable between a hip of the occupant and a lateral portion of the console box. The support portion and the hip protection portion are defined by a continuous chamber. The inflator is positioned from above to below the support portion in a side view of the vehicle. The airbag is mounted on a lateral portion of the vehicle seat via the inflator.

摘要: The side airbag device includes an inflator and a side airbag that is stored in a folded state in a side portion of a seatback of a vehicle seat and is inflatable and deployable in a space between a vehicle sidewall and a side portion of an occupant. The side airbag includes an outer bag and an inner bag. The inner bag houses the inflator and is disposed at a rear portion of the outer bag along an extending direction of the seatback. The outer bag is provided with a vent hole configured to communicate with an outside. The inner bag is provided with a gas circulating hole configured to communicate with the outer bag. The gas circulating hole is disposed at a position to be blocked by the outer bag when the side airbag in an inflated and deployed state is pressed between the occupant and the vehicle sidewall.
