Abstract: The present invention relates to a herbicidal composition which comprises:
a) at least one herbicide A selected from glyphosate, glufosinate and their salts, and
b) a herbicide B which is 3-[5-(difluoromethoxy)-1-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazol-4-ylmethylsulfonyl]-4,5-dihydro-5,5-dimethyl-1,2-oxazole [common name: pyroxasulfone].
The present invention relates in particular to a herbicidal composition comprising:
a) at least one herbicide A selected from glyphosate, glufosinate and their salts,
b) a herbicide B which is 3-[5-(difluoromethoxy)-1-methyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)pyrazol-4-ylmethylsulfonyl]-4,5-dihydro-5,5-dimethyl-1,2-oxazole [common name: pyroxasulfone], and
c) at least one further herbicide C, which is selected from the herbicide groups C.1 to C.8:
C.1 herbicides of the group of acetolactate synthase inhibitors (ALS inhibitors),
C.2 herbicides of the group of protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitors (PPO inhibitors),
C.3 herbicides of the group of auxines,
C.4 herbicides of the group of 4-hydroxyphenyl-pyruvate-dioxygenase inhibitors (HPPD inhibitors),
C.5 herbicides of the group of phytoene desaturase inhibitors (PDS inhibitors),
C.6 herbicides of the group of photosystem II inhibitors (PSII inhibitors),
C.7 herbicides of the group of microtubulin inhibitors, and
C.8 herbicides of the group of inhibitors of the synthesis of very long chain fatty acids (VLCFA inhibitors).-

Abstract: A method of forming an isocyanate-functional polymer component includes forming a first mixture by mixing a recycled polyurethane article and a first isocyanate component having isocyanate-functional groups. The first mixture is heated to a temperature sufficient to transform the recycled polyurethane article from a solid form to a liquid form and react the liquid recycled polyurethane component with the first isocyanate component to form an isocyanate-functional polymer component having an isocyanate-functional group content greater than zero and less than isocyanate-functional group content of the first isocyanate component. The formed isocyanate-functional polymer component may then be used for forming a polyurethane article or polyurethane foam article that is the reaction product of the formed isocyanate-functional polymer component, a second isocyanate component and an isocyanate-reactive component having hydroxyl-functional groups.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for isolating L-glufosinate from a composition comprising L-glufosinate and glutamate are provided. The method comprises converting the glutamate to pyroglutamate followed by the isolation of L-glufosinate from the pyroglutamate and other components of the composition to obtain substantially purified L-glufosinate. The composition comprising L-glufosinate and glutamate is subjected to an elevated temperature for a sufficient time to allow for the conversion of glutamate to pyroglutamate, followed by the isolation of L-glufosinate from the pyroglutamate and other components of the composition to obtain substantially purified L-glufosinate. The glutamate alternatively may be converted to pyroglutamate by enzymatic conversion. The purified L-glufosinate is present in a final composition at a concentration of 90% or greater of the sum of L-glufosinate, glutamate, and pyroglutamate. In some embodiments, a portion of the glutamate in the starting composition may be separated from the L-glufosinate using a crystallization step. Solid forms of L-glufosinate materials, including crystalline L-glufosinate ammonium, are also described.

In some examples, the hydrophobic monomer can comprise lauryl (meth)acrylate, stearyl (meth)acrylate, heptadecyl (meth)acrylate, linoleyl (meth)acrylate, behenyl acrylate, cyclohexyl (meth)acrylate, isodecyl (meth)acrylate), nonyl (meth)acrylate, tridecyl (meth)acrylate, pentadecyl (meth)acrylate, 3-methylbut-2-enyl methacrylate, 3,7-dimethylocta-2,6-dienyl (meth)acrylate, or a combination thereof.
