Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus for controlling audio signal processing are described herein. In accordance with certain embodiments, a measure of coupling between at least one microphone and one speaker associated with an audio device is obtained. The measure of coupling may be used to control audio signal processing, such as sidetone generation and application of multi-channel decorrelation to the audio signal.
Abstract:
In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for topology configuration of an array of packet processing elements via a topology configuration packet. Each processing element may include input packet busses from a first plurality of neighboring processing elements and output packet busses to a second plurality of neighboring processing elements. Each processing element may receive the configuration packet from one of the first plurality of neighboring elements, set its own topology configuration register according to predetermined values within the packet, and forward the packet out all of its outputs, in the same manner as a standard packet.
Abstract:
A system and method for data flow identification and alignment in a 40/100 gigabit Ethernet gearbox. Virtual lane (VL) identifiers can be identified to create an effective wiring diagram for data flows. This wiring diagram enables a multiplexer or de-multiplexer to align the VL identifiers to match physical lane identifiers.
Abstract:
An electrostatic discharge clamp may include a reference generator and a comparator. The electrostatic discharge clamp may be characterized by a time constant. A voltage difference caused by an electrostatic discharge event may activate the electrostatic discharge clamp. The comparator may hold the electrostatic discharge clamp in an active state responsive to a reference voltage provided by the reference generator. A duration of the active state of the electrostatic discharge clamp may facilitate dissipation of the electrostatic discharge event.
Abstract:
A computing system includes a first security central processing unit (SCPU) of a system-on-a-chip (SOC), the first SCPU configured to execute functions of a first security level. The computing system also includes a second SCPU of the SOC coupled with the first SCPU and coupled with a host processor, the second SCPU configured to execute functions of a second security level less secure than the first security level, and the second SCPU executing functions not executed by the first SCPU.
Abstract:
A wireless device includes a Near Field Communication (NFC) interface, a NFC antenna, ferrite shielding, NFC antenna tuning circuitry coupled to the NFC interface and to the NFC antenna, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry receives temperature input from a temperature sensor that is indicative of a temperature of at least one of the NFC antenna or the ferrite shielding, determines at least one NFC antenna tuning setting based upon the temperature input and configures the NFC antenna tuning circuitry based upon the at least one NFC antenna tuning setting. The NFC antenna tuning circuitry may include a plurality of lumped circuit elements including at least one controllable capacitance or inductance. The temperature sensor may be stand alone, included with the NFC interface, included with a battery, included with the processor, included with another wireless interface of the wireless device, or included with another component of the wireless device.
Abstract:
A television system and method for providing computer network-based video. Various aspects may, for example, comprise a television system and method for providing both standard television video combined with computer network-based video, serially and/or concurrently. Various aspects may also comprise a user interface system and method for interacting with a user regarding the presentation and/or control of computer network-based video.
Abstract:
Subsequent association identifier (AID) update within single user, multiple user, multiple access, and/or MIMO wireless communications. Even while a given communication device maintains continuous association within a given communication system, a unique identifier associated with that particular communication device may be updated. For example, considering and implementation including an access point (AP) and a number of wireless stations (STAs), even while at least some of the STAs remain in association with the AP, the respective unique identifiers associated with one or more of those STAs may be updated (e.g., the respective AID values associated with one or more of those STAs may be updated). For example, after an initial assignment of unique identifiers associated with a group of respective communication devices within the communication network, the unique identifier associated with one or more of those respective communication devices may be updated or changed after the initial assignment.
Abstract:
A wireless communication device (alternatively, device, WDEV, etc.) includes a processing circuitry configured to support communications with other WDEV(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. In some examples, the device includes a communication interface and a processing circuitry, among other possible circuitries, components, elements, etc. to support communications with other WDEV(s) and to generate and process signals for such communications. A WDEV generates and transmits a first signal that includes a field that specifies an acceptable interference level (AIL) for concurrent communication for use by a first other WDEV to determine whether a transmission from the first other WDEV to a second other WDEV acceptably or unacceptably interferes with another transmission from the WDEV. Concurrent communication (e.g., from the WDEV to a third other WDEV, and from the first other WDEV to the second other WDEV) may be made when the AIL compares favorably with the AIL.
Abstract:
Inductors are fabricated in core layers according to a predefined semiconductor package manufacturing process rules. The inductors provide an embedded substrate trace inductor solution. The inductors may be part of an on-chip voltage regulator or any other circuit design. The inductors provide a core spiral structure to help increase inductance, particularly using magnetic field coupling between inductors. The core layers provide thicker and heavier conductive segments for the inductors, particularly as compared to inductors fabricated in build-up layers according to the semiconductor package manufacturing process rules.
