    Abstract: An apparatus is configured to perform a method for user equipment (UE) offloading. The method includes receiving, at a network controller, a measurement report from a UE, the measurement report radio link measurement quantities of a serving cell and one or more candidate serving cells, the measurement quantities measured after interference cancellation or suppression. The method also includes, based in part on the measurement report from the UE, determining whether to offload the UE to a second cell among the one or more candidate serving cells.

    Abstract: A method for establishing end-to-end tunnels extending across multiple domains using a network element. The method includes receiving a request from a customer controller to implement a virtual network (VN) created by the customer controller, wherein the VN identifies the end-to-end tunnels extending across the multiple domains, mapping the VN to available resources based on network constraints in response to the request, and transmitting, after the VN has been mapped, a message to a network controller managing one of the domains that includes a network path used to form a portion of one of the end-to-end tunnels, wherein the message includes an association object having a Type-Length-Value (TLV) field containing a virtual network identifier binding the network path to the VN.

    Abstract: Embodiments are provided herein for low loss coupling capacitor structures. The embodiments include a n-type varactor (NVAR) configuration and p-type varactor (PVAR) configuration. The structure in the NVAR configuration comprises a p-doped semiconductor substrate (Psub), a deep n-doped semiconductor well (DNW) in the Psub, and a p-doped semiconductor well (P well) in the DNW. The circuit structure further comprises a source terminal of a p-doped semiconductor material within P well, and a drain terminal of the p-doped semiconductor material within the P well. Additionally, the circuit structure comprises an insulated gate on the surface of the P well, a metal pattern comprising a plurality of layers of metal lines, and a plurality of vias through the metal lines. The vias are contacts connecting the metal lines to the gate, the source terminal, and the drain terminal.

    Abstract: A data center interconnection (DCI) network may comprise a data center controller (DCC) managing a plurality of data centers (DCs) interconnected by a provider network managed by a network provider controller (NPC). The provider network may be an OpenFlow based software defined networking (SDN) transport network. The DCC may initiate a virtual network service (VNS) negotiation with the NPC to connect the DCs and may specify a network abstraction granularity level. The NPC may respond by computing paths through the provider network accordingly and providing the DCC with one or more virtual networks (VNs). The DCC may compute virtual paths through the VNs and send virtual network element (VNE) connection setup commands to the DCC. The DCC may convert the VNE connection setup commands into network element (NE) commands to setup connections in NEs of the provider network. The DCC and the NPC may perform fault monitoring, detection, and recovery.

In use, a database stores service usage information relating to usage of at least one service hosted by at least one server. Before at least one request for service is received from a user at the at least one server, the service usage information in the database is accessed. Further, based on the service usage information, a token associated with the user is sent to the at least one server for being validated by the at least one server, such that the at least one server allows access to the at least one service by the user, in response to the at least one request for service being received from the user with an identifier that is different from the token.
