The composite box structure defined in part by an exterior metal surface, interior side stakes and at least one layer of fiber reinforced material attached to the side stakes. Insulating material may be disposed between the side stakes, the exterior metal surface and the at least one fiber reinforced layer of fiber reinforced material. The insulating materials provide resistance to heat transfer between the interior and the exterior of the composite box structure. A primary floor assembly and a secondary floor assembly may be mounted on the railway car underframe.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for a low noise low jitter signal source is provided. A Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) is configured as part of a phase locked Loop (PLL) with a reference clock, a loop filter and a method of offsetting the Tune Voltage input to the Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) to achieve low phase noise. A method and apparatus for precisely controlled jitter injection into a high speed data or clock signals is provided. Using IQ modulation techniques comprising an IQ modulator, by synchronously controlling the IQ modulator inputs precisely controlled phase shift for jitter injection are produced. This can also be used with the low noise low jitter signal source described herein.

    摘要: Systems and methods are described for use in user interactive systems (UIS) so that multiple disparate applications can cooperate to provide broad functionality to users. These systems and methods allow applications to advertise their ability to handle specific functions. This allows applications developed independently to co-exist within the same call session and provide a seamless user experience. A system framework controls the UIS's primary navigational menus, which are automatically updated when new applications are plugged in to the framework. This allows users (assuming they have the proper permissions) to access new applications as soon as they are added, without requiring programmers to manually re-design menus.

    摘要: A multi-channel fiber optic rotary joint (FORJ) includes an external housing, a stationary collimator array, a rotating collimator array, an all-reflective de-rotating prism and a gear ratio. The external housing contains an internal cavity having a longitudinal rotation axis. The stationary collimator array is affixed to the external housing approximate a first end of the internal cavity. The rotating collimator array is rotatably attached to the external housing approximate a second end of the cavity. The second end of the cavity is opposite the first end of the cavity. The rotating collimator array is configured to rotate about the rotation axis. The de-rotating prism is located along the rotation axis within the internal cavity between the stationary collimator array and the rotating collimator array. The prism is retained in a prism housing, which is rotatably attached to the external housing and the prism housing is configured to rotate about the rotation axis.
