Abstract: A running track determining device capable of appropriately determining a running track of a subject vehicle in the future in a speedy manner and an automatic driving apparatus including the running track determining device is provided. A running track determining device (1) includes an ECU (2). The ECU (2) calculates a risk potential (Prisk) representing an area having a possibility of the presence of a traffic participant from the present to the future in surroundings of the subject vehicle (3) in accordance with surrounding status data (D_info) detected by a status detecting device (4), calculates a benefit potential (Pbnf) representing an ideal running area in the future in which the subject vehicle (3) should run, and determines a running track (Tr_sk) of the subject vehicle (3) in the future by using the risk potential (Prisk) and the benefit potential (Pbnf).

Abstract: A control apparatus controlling a controlled variable of a controlled object having a response lag characteristic using a combination of feedforward control method, response-specifying control method, and disturbance compensation method. An ECU of the apparatus calculates driver demand boost pressure for feedforward-controlling actual boost pressure as controlled variable, and calculates FB target pressure as value on which response lag characteristic of the actual value to the driver demand value is reflected. The ECU calculates error as difference between the actual and target values, and feedback correction term as sum of equivalent control input including disturbance estimated value and the error as variables and reaching law input, using equation defining relationship between the error, feedback correction term value, and disturbance estimated value, and response-specifying control algorithm, and then adds the correction term value to the driver demand value to thereby calculate demanded boost pressure as control input.

Abstract: A control device mounted on a mobile object acquires surrounding situation information indicating a surrounding situation of a mobile object recognized by an object recognition device mounted on the mobile object, detects a predetermined reference object present in a traveling direction of the mobile object on the basis of the surrounding situation information, identifies a travelable area of the mobile object on the basis of the surrounding situation information, controls traveling of the mobile object such that the mobile object travels in the travelable area, causes the mobile object to move closer to the reference object when the reference object is detected, and detects an accompanying object accompanying the reference object on the basis of the surrounding situation information recognized by the object recognition device after the mobile object moves closer to the reference object, and identifying the travelable area by excluding the reference object and the accompanying object.

Abstract: A hardware processor of a mobile object executes the program stored in a storage device to acquire reference information with which a facility where an occupant is likely to stop by is identifiable; to recognize whether a mobile object is moving on a roadway or a predetermined region different from the roadway; to recognize presence of a contact portion between the predetermined region and the roadway in a traveling direction of the mobile object; to partially control a speed of the mobile object; to limit a speed of the mobile object moving on the roadway to a first speed; to limit a speed of the mobile object moving on the predetermined region to a second speed lower than the first speed; and to bring a speed of the mobile object to the second speed when the mobile object is moving on the roadway, the contact portion is recognized within a predetermined range from the mobile object, and it is determined with reference to the reference information that there is a facility where the occupant is likely to stop by on a side on which there is the contact portion from the look of the roadway.
