    摘要: A thermal air flow rate measuring apparatus of great precision wherein sensitivity is enhanced by sensors having different output characteristics and an operating device employing a digitized signal. The sensitivity and temperature can be corrected easily depending on the flow direction of fluid. The measuring apparatus includes at least one heating resistor disposed in a gas fluid, temperature detecting resistors formed at an upstream part and a downstream part of the heating resistor in the flow direction of the fluid, a device for outputting at least two signals relating to the flow rate of the fluid, a quantizing device for quantizing the output values, and an operating device for operating the flow rate based on the quantized signals.

    摘要: Featured is a recording and reproducing method for recording and reproducing information on and from a recording medium. The medium includes a base having a property that a light can be transmitted therethrough, a readout layer formed on the base, which has an in-plane magnetization at room temperature, whereas, a transition occurs from in-plane magnetization to perpendicular magnetization as temperature rises and a recording layer formed on said readout layer for recording thereon information magneto-optically. A groove for guiding a light beam is formed on a readout layer side of the base and a groove width is set substantially equal to a land width formed between grooves. The recording layer on the grooves and the recording layer on lands are used in recording and reproducing information. Further a light beam is incident on a converging lens of an optical head, the light beam having a larger diameter &ohgr; than an aperture &agr; of the converging lens for converging the light beam on a predetermined position of the magneto-optical recording medium.

    摘要: In a heating resistor type air flow measurement apparatus, flow correction data are read out from a primary memory and stored in a secondary memory, and then an air flow signal is calibrated by the flow correction data stored in the secondary memory when starting the apparatus up. The apparatus has a diagnosis unit, for determining whether or not the flow correction data stored in the primary memory are correct, so that the determination processing of the flow correction data by the diagnosis unit is performed at any time at least including the starting-up point of the apparatus. There is no fear that engine control based on abnormal flow correction data will continue.

    摘要: A magnetic recording medium having a recording layer made up of a ferrimagnetic material whose compensation temperature is included within room temperatures and an information recording-reproduction method using the magnetic recording medium. During recording, while a light beam is projected on the recording layer so as to raise the temperature of a recording portion, information is recorded by applying a signal magnetic field from a magnetic head. During reproduction, while a light beam is projected on a reproducing portion of the recording layer so as to raise the temperature thereof, information is reproduced by detecting leakage flux from the reproducing portion by the magnetic head. Thus, during reproduction, no magnetic flux is generated from other portions of the recording layer not irradiated by the light beam. With the arrangement, crosstalk due to leakage flux from adjoining tracks not irradiated by the optical beam can be eliminated. Therefore, track pitches can be made narrower so as to increase recording density of the magnetic recording medium. Further, since crosstalk from adjoining tracks is eliminated, a high S/N can be achieved.

    摘要: A casing is attached to a nozzle plate so that a hollow cavity is formed between the nozzle plate having a nozzle orifice and the casing. Three buckling structure bodies are arranged in the hollow cavity. Each of the buckling structure bodies has both ends fixedly attached to the casing via an attach member so that the center portion can be displaced. A power source is provided which applies a compressive stress to the interior of the buckling structure bodies to buckle the buckling structure bodies by the compressive stress and to displace the center portion. As a result, the ink jet head is capable of implementing a large discharge force while maintaining a compact size.
