摘要: A method for obtaining mask and source patterns for printing integrated circuit patterns includes providing initial representations of a plurality of mask and source patterns. The method identifies long-range and short-range factors in the representations of the plurality of mask and source patterns, and provides a plurality of clips including a specified number of mask patterns. Short-range factors having overlapping ranges for each of the clips are specified. The method includes determining an initial processing priority for the plurality of clips, and determining a patterning relationship between integrated circuit patterns and the mask and source patterns. A primary objective is determined which expresses the printability of the integrated circuit patterns in terms of the patterning relationship. The method defines and iteratively solves a master problem employing the primary objective to generate values for the long-range factors, and solves subproblems employing a second objective for generating values for the short-range factors.

摘要: A method for offering a user reward based on a chosen navigation route includes calculating alternative routes from a starting location to a destination location by taking into consideration route segments including public transportation route segments and road network route segments. The alternative routes are presented to a user. A reward is offered for choosing a respective one of the routes. A navigation system that performs the route calculation preferably queries a network database for public transportation information.

摘要: An apparatus for protecting a battery pack includes a fuse and a sense resistor, connected on a circuit path along which a charging or discharging current flows, and a fuse control switch for controlling the fuse. Also, the apparatus further includes a Schottky diode having one end connected to the sense resistor and the other end connected to the fuse control switch. Thus, destruction of a sense resistor serving an important role in the battery pack protecting apparatus is detected to melt and cut the fuse, thereby preventing any element from being damaged due to overcurrent and thus improving the safety of a battery pack at a low cost.

摘要: Certain aspects of the invention for packet segmentation and offload may comprise determining whether an identified packet is a large send offload packet (LSOP). If the identified packet is a LSOP, a selection may be made between a hardware process and a firmware process for handling the LSOP. The LSOP may then be processed by the selected hardware process or firmware process. At least a portion of protocol header information for a first segment of the LSOP may be stored and subsequently utilized for at least a header portion of a second segment of the LSOP. A payload corresponding to the second segment of the LSOP may be placed at a determined offset within a transmit buffer for the second segment. A header portion of the second segment may be updated based on at least a header portion of a previous segment.

摘要: Design pattern is redefined to focus on its quality focus. An approach, based on object-oriented quality model, is provides to validate if a design pattern answers whether a proposed structural model of the design pattern really resolves quality problems described in intent of the design pattern. A validation approach is proposed to check if the design pattern is well-designed. In addition, a quantitative method is proposed to measure an effectiveness of quality improvement of the design pattern for determining whether the design pattern is applicable to meet functional and quality requirements.
