摘要: A magnetic sensor includes: a first and a second magnetoresistive elements each including: a magnetization free layer; a nonmagnetic spacing layer; a magnetization pinned layer having one or more first layers of a first group of ferromagnetic layers and one or more second layers of a second group of ferromagnetic layers, in which the first layer and the second layer are stacked alternately with a nonmagnetic coupling layer in between, and so antiferromagnetically coupled to each other as to have opposite magnetizations to each other; and an antiferromagnetic layer pinning magnetization orientation in the one or more first and the second layers. The first layers in the first magnetoresistive element are one more in number than that of the one or more second layers. The number of the one or more first layers and that of the one or more second layers in the second magnetoresistive element are equal.

摘要: A developing device is provided for visualizing an electrostatic latent image previously formed on the surface of an image carrier as a toner image. The developing device has a developing roller placed at a position facing the image carrier, carrying a toner on the surface thereof, conveying the toner and flying the conveyed toner onto the surface of the image carrier; and a resin layer coated on the surface of the developing roller. The absolute value of the difference in charge between the toners in the upper and lower layers of the toner layer formed on the developing roller as the toner carried on the developing roller is 6 μC/g or less.

摘要: A safety valve drive system is operated such that a safety valve of a nuclear power plant is opened by supplying a driving gas by using a pilot valve at an occurrence of an accident or a transient state to thereby protect a reactor against pressure application. The safety valve drive system is provided with a safety valve drive unit, as a function of actuating the safety valve, and cables. The safety valve drive unit actuates in a manner that the safety valve is opened in response to respective auto-depressurization system actuating signals for two or more segments among respective auto-depressurization system actuating signals for four segments, and is closed if an auto-depressurization system actuating signal for one or less segment among the auto-depressurization system actuating signals for the four segments is received. The cables are connected to the safety valve drive unit and used to transfer the auto-depressurization system actuating signals for the four segments.
