    摘要: A self-wrapping nonwoven sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a non-woven wall having a thickness extending between inner and outer sides. The wall has opposite edges extending along a length of the sleeve between opposite ends. The opposite edges are biased into a self-wrapped configuration by heat-set material of the nonwoven wall to define a tubular cavity. The non-woven wall includes first and second portions extending between the opposite edges. The first portion and second portion have respective first and second thicknesses extending between the inner and outer sides, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness and wherein the first portion provides flexibility to the wall and the second portion is heat set to bias the wall into its self-wrapped configuration.

    摘要: A non-woven fabric (1) that is modified with activated carbon is needled on an elastic or inelastic textile sheet material (2), preferably a woven fabric or a knitted fabric. With this method, it is achieved that the strength of the textile sheet material (2) can be imparted to a non-woven fabric (1) that is otherwise not tear-resistant, whereby the adsorption properties of the activated carbon that are necessary in protective textiles are completely retained. During needling, the elastic or inelastic textile sheet material (2) is stretched or kept stretched, and stress is relieved after needling. The effect that is thus achieved is that the non-woven fabric (1) does not tear when the textile good or the molded part is stretched again, since the non-woven fabric then is stretched out from a compressed initial state.

    摘要: The invention relates to a clothing especially a press felt for a paper, cardboard or tissue machine with a nonwoven structure comprising staple fibers and which provides the paper and running side of the clothing and with a base structure which is embedded into the nonwoven structure, whereby the base structure comprises a warp knit structure which has sewing threads and reinforcing threads extending lengthways parallel to each other and which have a greater flexural strength than the sewing threads, whereby the sewing threads form loops into which the reinforcing threads are tied thereby forming the warp knit structure. The invention is characterized in that an intermediate layer is arranged at the warp knit structure which is connected with the reinforcing threads by way of the sewing threads.

The stabilization layer has a fibrous stabilization material with stabilization fibers oriented in at least two planar directions of the stabilization layer. The tension layer has a fibrous tension material with tension fibers oriented in at least two planar directions of the tension layer. The tension fibers melt at a lower temperature than the stabilization fibers, and the adhesive melts at a lower temperature than the tension fibers. In one version, the fibrous stabilization material of the stabilization layer has a thickness and fiber characteristics that create cushion attributes in the stabilization layer. In another version, the fibrous tension material of the tension layer has a thickness and fiber characteristics that create cushion attributes in the tension layer.

    摘要: A self-wrapping, non-woven sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes an elongate non-woven wall having opposite sides extending along a longitudinal axis of the sleeve. The sides are self-wrapping about the longitudinal axis to provide a tubular cavity. The sides are extendable away from one another under an externally applied force to expose the cavity for insertion of the elongate members, wherein the sides return to their self-wrapped configuration upon removal of the externally applied force. The wall includes discrete first regions of a material and discrete second regions of a material. The first and second regions of material are different and provide the wall with non-uniform physical properties.
