    摘要: An optical information recording medium that has a simple structure and with which warpage is kept to a minimum even under environmental changes over a wide range, and a method for manufacturing this medium are provided. The optical information recording medium is an optical information recording medium used for the reproduction of recorded information and for recording and reproduction, including a substrate having an information recording layer, and a light transmitting layer that covers the information recording layer and is composed of a radiation curable resin, wherein a warpage adjusting layer for adjusting warpage of the light transmitting layer caused by temperature changes is disposed on the opposite side of the substrate from the side on which the information recording layer is formed. There is included at least a temperature region that satisfies the relationship that the coefficient of linear expansion CL of the light transmitting layer

    摘要: An optical recording medium is provided with: a first substrate having first pits on one face thereof; a first reflective layer that is formed on the face bearing the first pits of the first substrate in a manner so as to reflect lands and recesses of the first pits; a second substrate that is formed on the first reflective layer, with second pits being formed on a face on the side opposite to the first reflective layer; a second reflective layer that is formed on the face bearing the second pits of the second substrate in a manner so as to reflect lands and recesses of the second pits; and a cover layer formed on the second reflective layer. In this structure, the first pit depth d1 that is a difference between lands and recesses of the first reflective layer, the wavelength λ of signal-reproducing laser light and the refractive index n1 of the second substrate satisfy the following relational expressions: λ/(5n1)≦d1≦λ/(3n1) and d1≠λ/(4n1). Moreover, the second pit depth d2, which is a difference between lands and recesses of the second reflective layer, the wavelength λ of signal-reproducing laser light and the refractive index n2 of the cover layer satisfy the following relational expressions: λ/(5n2)≦d2≦λ/(3n2) and d2≠λ/(4n2).

    摘要: A disc-shaped optical data recording medium has a signal recording layer for reading and/or writing data using light, and a 10 μm to 200 μm thick transparent protective layer disposed over the signal recording layer. The optical data recording medium includes a protrusion projecting from a surface of the transparent protective layer on a light-incidence surface side to which light is emitted to the signal recording layer. The protrusion is disposed in an area between a center hole and a clamping area where the optical data recording medium is held when reading and/or writing data in the signal recording layer.
