摘要: The present invention relates to, in general, a welding end effector apparatus configured for welding a plastic component. The welding end effector apparatus typically comprises a frame structure supporting a welding tip. The welding end effector apparatus further comprises a plastic weld rod feeder apparatus configured for delivering a plastic weld rod to the welding tip. The welding tip is configured to deposit at least partially deformed plastic weld rod onto the plastic component for welding the plastic component. The frame is configured to operatively couple the welding end effector to a multi-axis robotic arm for welding the component.

摘要: A fastening system for fixing an object on a base includes a first receptacle storing an aerobic adhesive and includes an associated first withdrawal device. A second receptacle, separate from the first receptacle, stores a free-flowing substance and includes an associated second withdrawal device. The first withdrawal device is configured to generate an aerobic adhesive layer with a height profile on the base. The second withdrawal device is configured to generate a surface layer of the free-flowing substance on the layer of aerobic adhesive with height profile to form a layer, whereby volumetric incorporations or inclusions of the free-flowing substance are formed in the aerobic adhesive when the object is pressed onto the layer structure.

More particularly, the present disclosure relates to foam-film sheets configured to protect furniture from damage. An exemplary foam-film sheet as disclosed herein includes a sheet of foam material having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge; a sheet of film material having a first lateral edge and a second lateral edge; a first seal between a portion of the foam material proximate its first lateral edge and a portion of the film material proximate its first lateral edge; and a second seal between a portion of the foam material proximate its second lateral edge and a portion of the film material proximate its second lateral edge, wherein the film and foam are substantially unseated along the entire transverse width between the first and second sealed portions near the lateral edges of the foam material.

摘要: A method for repairing a honeycomb core sandwich structural body according to the present invention is a method in which a damaged portion that is formed in a honeycomb core sandwich structural body where a honeycomb structured core is held between a first outer skin and a second outer skin and that reaches the core through the first outer skin is repaired, the method including: a repair material mounting step of mounting a repair material on the damaged portion, the repair material including a patch that covers an opening of the damaged portion, and one or a plurality of braces that support the patch; a patch bonding step of bonding the patch to the first outer skin; and a brace bonding step of bonding the brace to the second outer skin or the core.

摘要: A bonding device for charging a liquid material into a space between plate-shaped members for bonding them together in situ, in which the liquid material may be prevented from exuding from the space between the plate-shaped members. The bonding device includes pair retaining base members for retaining the pair plate-shaped members facing each other, and a retaining base member movement unit for causing movement of the retaining base members towards and away from each other. The bonding device also includes an illumination unit that illuminates curing light to a photo-curable liquid material charged between the pair plate-shaped members held by the pair retaining base members, and a sensor that detects the wetting spreading state of the liquid material charged between the pair plate-shaped members.

摘要: Provided is a joint treatment method that enables smooth joint treatment without damaging the ultraviolet radiation curable resin formed on the interior sheet surface. The joint treatment method is for joining a butt joint portion of interior sheets, the protective layer being formed as a surface layer of each of the interior sheets. The method includes: (1) a step of injecting a joint treatment agent, which has no dissolving ability with respect to at least the protective layer, into the butt joint portion; and (2) a step of attaching, before the injected joint treatment agent is cured, an adhesive tape so as to straddle the butt joint portion such that the tape is in contact with the protective layer and the joint treatment agent present in the butt joint portion.

摘要: A method of recoupling components of a medical device in a desired orientation during reprocessing of the medical device. The method uses a binder to return the components to an adhered condition from a separated condition. The method comprises receiving the components of the medical device in the separated condition with the component spaced from the desired orientation. The components of the medical device are cleaned and arranged in the desired orientation. The binder is applied to recouple the components in the desired orientation to return the components to the adhered condition.

摘要: Structures and methods for providing a liquid adhesive between substrates of a composite structure are described. Methods include providing a liquid adhesive having a thread disposed therein between two substrates of a composite structure. In some embodiments, the thread has a fixed diameter which acts to provide a consistent gap between the two substrates. In some embodiments, the thread is configured to be activated during the assembly process to facilitate curing of the liquid adhesive. In some embodiments the thread is configured to be activated after the composite structure is formed to facilitate separation of the two substrates and disassembly of the composite structure. The thread can be made of a conductive or non-conductive material. In some embodiments, the thread is activated by passing a voltage through the thread to heat the thread. In some embodiments, the thread is activated by passing ultraviolet light through the thread.
