摘要： A food slicer is provided having a support member including a base portion and an upstanding portion integrally formed with the base portion. The upstanding portion includes a rotating cutting blade secured thereto for slicing food product and at least one motor positioned within the upstanding portion for rotating the cutting blade. The base portion includes a food product table slidably secured thereto and is movable across the cutting blade for holding product while it is being sliced by the cutting blade. An adjustable gage plate also is provided for determining the thickness of a food product to be sliced by the cutting blade. First and second top surfaces are formed by a distal end of the upstanding portion of the support member. The base portion and the upstanding portion are formed as a single piece with a total continuous surface with no openings, seams, crevices or the like below the first and second top surfaces.

摘要： A method of distributing digital entertainment works at least partly over a global computer network, which includes providing a card containing a code and information as to a digital entertainment work associated with each card, distributing the card to a purchaser, providing a website having a transfer area, the website being accessible over the Internet by the purchaser utilizing a user computer. In response to the purchaser requesting access to a transfer area of the website and inputting the code and prompted information about the digital entertainment work, verifying an authenticity of the card. The purchaser is then provided access to the transfer area for the purpose of transferring the digital entertainment work. Finally the purchaser is permitted to transfer the digital entertainment work onto the user computer.

The ball is selectively rotatable relative to the socket. The ball is coupled to the case and the socket is coupled to a mounting post. The mounting post is releasably fixed to a mounting bar. The mounting bar defines a mounting slot configured to fix the apparatus relative to a structure, such as a microphone stand or the like. The apparatus includes clamping mechanisms to enable a user to selectively fix and release the components of the apparatus such that a user can configure and fix the apparatus to a desired position for interfacing with the tablet, and then lock the apparatus in that desired position.

The battery is housed in a storage box and an air intake system supplies air to the air intake manifold and the battery storage box. The air intake system has an inlet supplying air to a flow diverter. The flow diverter has a main channel including a bend dividing the main channel into a first passage and a second passage tangential to the first passage. The second passage is in fluid communication with the air intake manifold. The flow diverter includes an outlet facing the first passage which is in fluid communication with the battery storage box.

The system comprises: a display for displaying an image to be backlit; memory storing a numeric representation of the image on a pixel-by-pixel basis; and a backlight adjustment module to calculate a pixel-by-pixel, running average of an intensity of the image using the numeric representation and to determine a backlight level for the image using the running average, the running average being calculated according to an equation that calculates a new average using a previous average and a current pixel intensity value to avoid an overflow condition when calculating the running average.
