摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a controller having an integrated circuit for image processing. The controller is connected to an engine via a peripheral component interconnect (PCI). The engine includes a plotter and a scanner. The controller includes a central processing unit (CPU) to which a chip-set is connected via an accelerated graphics port (AGP). The controller also includes an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) that controls whether to output scanner image data, which is data acquired by the scanner, to the PCI as plotter data for the plotter, or to output the scanner image data to the AGP, or to output image data input through the AGP to the PCI as plotter data for the plotter. The ASIC includes a combiner that combines a plurality of image data.

摘要： A hologram reproducing apparatus is provided that can be reduced in size. A hologram reproducing apparatus of the invention reproduces signal information from a recorded media having a domain of diffraction grating that is irradiated with a record light beam containing a coherent reference light component and a signal light component spatially modulated according to the signal information substantially on the same optical axis and is recorded an interference of the reference light component and the signal light component. The hologram reproducing apparatus comprises a light source for emitting a coherent light beam, a light-beam irradiator for irradiating the light beam to the domain of diffraction grating of the recording medium, a light collector for collecting a reproduced light beam reproduced by irradiating the light beam to the domain of diffraction grating toward a convergent position, an incident-light processing unit provided at the convergent position and for separating a Fourier 0-order component of the reproduced light beam and a diffraction light component of the reproduced light beam, and a detecting section for detecting the signal information from the diffraction component.

A nozzle moving mechanism (15, 52, . . . ) is disposed that moves the nozzles (12, 13) radially outward relative to a rotational center (Po) of the substrate, while maintaining the inert gas nozzle nearer to the rotational center of the substrate than the fluid nozzle.

摘要： A hologram recording and reproducing system having compatibility has: a supporting unit for freely attachably supporting a recording medium including a photosensitive material; a signal light-generating unit for projecting a coherent light beam modulated according to a predetermined data into a recording medium and generating a diffraction grating by providing a three-dimensional light interference pattern in the recording medium; a detector unit for detecting and photoelectrically converting a diffracted light from the diffraction grating; and a demodulating unit for demodulating a predetermined data from an output from the detector unit. The detector unit has an intermediate data-generating unit for generating an intermediate data, and the demodulating unit has a conversion table in which the intermediate data and the predetermined data are uniquely associated, and demodulates the predetermined data by performing a computation based on a correlation in the conversion table.
