    摘要: A mode setting arrangement for use in a video tape recorder includes a cam arrangement defined by first and second cams provided integrally and mounted on an axle and a spiral guide groove formed in said cam arrangement with the center of the spiral being at the center of the axle. A first lever is provided operatively in association with the first cam for moving a pinch roller, a second lever is provided operatively in association with the second cam for effecting the transmital of driving force to a reel for winding manetic tape, and arm mechanisms are provided operatively in association with the spiral guide groove for effecting the extraction of magnetic tape from a cassette and extending the magnetic tape around a drum.

    摘要: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a novel and improved snap-on plug for an apertured panel. The snap-on plug comprises a shank and a flange extending laterally from one end of the shank. The shank is hollow and adapted for insertion within a complementary panel aperture. A groove is formed in the outer surface of the shank at a location adjacent the flange and adapted for engagement with a panel portion around the aperture. The shank is provided with an inner surface portion upon which a force is applied when the plug is to be inserted into the panel aperture. The inner surface is inclined with respect a plane in which the groove is positioned such that upon insertion of the plug into the complementary panel aperture the groove is gradually brought into engagement with the panel.

    摘要: A tool for simultaneously inserting each of a plurality of wires in respective non-deforming insulation piercing terminals disposed in a terminal retaining body. The terminal retaining body is supported in the tool so that each terminal is aligned with a guide slot through which the wires are forced by the action of insertion tabs. The ends of the wires are retained in coil springs which are coupled to releasing handles so that the springs may be extended to facilitate removal of the wires. As the insertion tabs are forced through the guide slots, a cutting member disposed in each of the slots cooperates with an edge of the insertion tabs to cut the wire at a predetermined point. The tool is adjustable to accept terminal retaining bodies of various shapes and sizes.

    摘要: A motor vehicle window assembly comprises a windshield, a window frame flange in parallel spaced relationship to a marginal area on the rear surface of the windshield and a looped trim strip. The looped trim strip includes a channel portion embracing the edge of the windshield and a dam portion spaced apart from and connected with a rear channel wall lying against the rear surface of the windshield by a plurality of bridges. The rear channel wall, dam portion and the rear surface of the windshield forms a channel into which an adhesive is injected. The adhesive bonds the windshield to the flange of the window frame and is prevented from being exposed to the ambient atmosphere by means of the rear channel wall and dam portion which lie against the flange.
