摘要： Disclosed in a reading apparatus for supplying power to at least one of a plurality of superimposed RF tags and reading information from the tag while power is being supplied thereto. The apparatus includes means for generating high-frequency signals; electromagnetic wave generating means to which the high-frequency signals are input for generating electromagnetic waves from a plurality of locations, e.g., from both sides of the superimposed tags, by the high-frequency signals and causing the electromagnetic waves to interfere with each other on the tags; means for controlling the phase difference between the high-frequency signals, which are supplied to the electromagnetic wave generating means provided on both sides of the tags, in accordance with the position of a tag from which information is read; and phase shifting means for controlling the phase of at least one high-frequency signal so to produce the phase difference.

摘要： The distortion compensator which compensates the nonlinearity of a power amplifier in a radio communication device stops the operation of updating the automatic phase adjustment, automatic delay adjustment, equalizer adjustment, and distortion compensation table when something wrong is detected in the input to a distortion compensation unit such as a reference signal, feedback signal, address of the distortion compensation table, and phase value so that the distortion compensation coefficients may not be improperly updated.

The constant-amplitude wave combination type amplifier also includes a first constant-amplitude wave generating circuit for combining an input wave and the second amplified output from the second amplifier and for generating a first constant-amplitude wave which is input to the first amplifier, and a second constant-amplitude wave generating circuit for combining the input wave and the first amplified output from the first amplifier and for generating a second constant-amplitude wave. Further, the constant-amplitude wave combination type amplifier includes a wave combining circuit for combining the first and second constant-amplitude waves and for generating an output wave.

摘要： A power amplifying apparatus includes a high-speed low pass filter which inputs an envelope signal included in a transmission signal therein, a low-speed low pass filter which inputs the envelope signal therein, a determination unit which inputs the envelope signal therein and determines rising or falling of the envelope signal, a selecting unit which selects one of the high-speed low pass filter and the low-speed low pass filter according to a determined result of the determination unit, and a voltage supply unit which generates a voltage based on a signal input according to a selection by the selecting unit and supplies the voltage to a power amplifier which inputs the transmission signal therein so as to amplify a power of the transmission signal.

In response to receiving an answer signal via the sub antenna from a wireless communications unit moving together with one or more management objects, the switch control unit switches an antenna used for communications from the sub antenna to the main antenna and the RF tag reader performs communications, via the main antenna, with an RF tag each accompanying one of the management objects.

摘要： A reader/writer 25 transmits an instruction for changing over between antennas 31 and 32, carried on a high frequency wave in the same format as a common command. A part of the antenna is equipped with a command interpretation circuit 30 which demodulates a high frequency wave received from the reader/writer body 25 and obtains a command content. If this command is an antenna changeover instruction of the reader/writer itself, the command interpretation circuit 30 instructs a changeover signal generation unit 28 for generating a changeover signal and changes over antennas by controlling a high frequency wave switch unit 29.
