    摘要: A high frequency amplifier containing: a constant envelope signal generation circuit for transforming an input signal to form two constant envelope signals where phases of the constant envelope signals correspond to an amplitude of an envelope of the input signal; two amplifying circuits for separately amplifying two constant envelope signals; and a power synthesizing circuit for synthesizing the first and second amplified signals to generate an amplified signal of the input electric signal, and reflecting remaining components of the first and second amplified signals which remaining components remain in the above synthesizing operation, toward the first and second amplifying circuits. Further, an input impedance of the power synthesizing circuit may be controlled by shifting phases of the above reflected components by respectively predetermined amounts, or by adaptively shifting phases of the above reflected components responding to an input level, so that a total efficiency of the high frequency amplifier is maximized. The high frequency amplifier may contain, instead of the above two amplifying circuits and the power synthesizing circuit, a circuit for inverting a phase of one of the two constant envelope signals; and a single-ended push-pull amplifier circuit for receiving the other of the two constant envelope signals, and an output of the phase inversion circuit, and synthesizing the received signals to generate an amplified signal of the input electric signal.

    摘要: In a CDMA wireless base station, signals that have been received by a plurality antenna elements of an array antenna on the receiving side are subjected to beam forming by a reception beam former to electrically form a plurality of uplink beams. Reception is carried out based upon the optimum beam (e.g., the beam for which the power is maximum) among the plurality of uplink beams. A transmission beam former for subjecting a transmission signal to beam forming is provided. Based upon whether an uplink reception signal is present or not, a controller performs control so as to carry out downlink beam forming, thereby forming a downlink transmission beam in a direction identical with that of the optimum uplink reception beam, or in such a manner that downlink beam forming is not carried out.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to an interference canceller for a DS-CDMA communication system and a radio communication device that performs multi-rate transmission and eliminates interference of high-rate channels by a simplified structure. In a DS-CDMA communication system that performs a multi-rate transmission including at least low-rate channels and high-rate channels, there is provided an interference canceller that includes an array antenna interference replicating unit. The interference replicating unit is used in high-rate channels that receive signals received via array antenna elements and creates interference replicas of the high-rate channels. The system also includes an adder 6, which subtracts the interference replicas from the received signal via the array antenna elements. Further a resultant interference-eliminated signal is applied to receivers for the low-rate and high-rate channels.
