摘要： A recording apparatus comprises a head for forming an image on a recording medium or for reading an image formed on a recording medium; a supporting member for holding the head; a first unit for electrical connection provided for the head; a second unit for electrical connection provided for the supporting member, which can be electrically connected to the first unit for electrical connection; and a member for deelectrifying static electricity, which is provided for the supporting member in the vicinity of the second unit for electrical connection. This deelectrifying member prevents static electricity from flowing into the signal lines provided for the second unit for electrical connection when the supporting member is actuated to hold the head.

摘要： In a stator core, an intermediate portion of a projection and a groove have respectively formed therein: straight portions extending in a certain width in a direction normal to each end surface of yoke portions; and, near the straight portions closer to end surfaces of yoke portions, contracted portions having a width smaller than the width of the straight portions. When the projection is fit by press fitting into the groove in the normal direction, groove walls on both diametrically outer and inner sides of the groove are deflected within an elastic region. When fit by pressing, the straight and contracted portions of the projection are elastically tightened together at the straight and contracted portions of the groove, respectively. An apparatus for assembling a stator core has a plurality of radially disposed and radially movable jigs for holding the segmented cores. Vertically movable cams are provided vertically downwards on an upper vertically movable plate. By lowering the movable plate, the jigs are pushed radially inwards. By this pushing the plurality of segmented cores circumferentially approach each other. The projection of each segmented core is fit by press fitting into the groove of the adjoining segmented core in the circumferential direction, thereby connecting the segmented cores together.

摘要： A recording medium transport mechanism has first rotary members provided downstream of a recording area in the direction of transport of a recording medium and on the side of a recording surface of the recording medium, and a second rotary member provided downstream of the recording area and on the side opposite from the recording surface side of the recording medium to guide the recording medium in association with the first rotary members to discharge the recording medium out of the recording area, the second rotary member including a liquid absorbing member provided on its circumferential surface portions and capable of contacting the first rotary members. This recording medium transport mechanism is used in an ink jet recording apparatus to prevent a contamination on the surface of a recording medium opposite from the recording surface side.

摘要： A recorder comprises a recording device housing for housing a device for forming a record on record medium at a record position and a relatively movable stacker for stacking record media recorded by the recording device and having an open side for removing the stacked media. A convex area on the bottom of the stacker extends othogonally to the length of the stacker at a position spaced from the lengthwise center of the stacker toward the open side. The convex portion inhibits movement of the stacked media which could occur through shocks received by the recorder.

A switching device selectively switches positions of the separating claw device between a first position where the separating claw device is separated from the sheet supporting device and a second position where the separating claw device is adjacent to the sheet supporting device. A separation device separates, one-by-one, the sheets fed by the supply device in a condition that the separating claw device is in the second position.

摘要： An image recording system includes a host computer and a recording apparatus. The host computer generates image data to be recorded as an image. The recording apparatus includes a recording head, an image data generator, an error detector, and a selector. The error detector checks the condition of the recording apparatus to detect any errors. The selector switches between an on-line mode and an off-line mode of the recording system. In the on-line mode, the recording head is capable of recording the image on the recording medium in response to the image data supplied from the host computer. In the off-line mode, the recording means is capable of recording the predetermined image on the recording medium in response to the predetermined image data supplied from the predetermined image data generator. The selector switches to the on-line mode when the error detector does not detect an error and switches to the off-line mode when the error detector does detect an error.

摘要： Oscillating and fixing apparatus for oscillating and fixing the recording head in an image forming machine. A recording head records an image on a recording medium which is fed to the record location by a recording medium feeding device. The feeding device has a reference surface. Oscillating apparatus oscillates the recording head toward and away from the recording medium and causes the recording head to abut the reference surface following the forward movement. A fixing device prevents the oscillation effected by the oscillating apparatus and fixes the recording head with respect to the recording medium to protect the recording head from vibration and shock.
