摘要: A light emitting diode driving apparatus 10 of the present invention includes: a driving voltage generating section 11 for generating a driving voltage Vout of an LED; a driving current control section 12 for PWM controlling driving currents iW1 to iW3 that flow through the LED; and a monitor voltage generating section 13 that monitors the driving voltage Vout, and that generates a monitor voltage Vm during an OFF period of the driving current by superposing on a predetermined reference voltage Vref, which is used as a standard, a voltage corresponding to a difference occurring in the driving voltage Vout during the OFF period. The driving voltage generating section 11 performs feedback control of the driving voltage Vout such that feedback voltages VW1 to VW3 are equal to the reference voltage Vref during an ON period of the driving current, and the driving voltage generating section 11 performs feedback control of the driving voltage Vout such that the monitor voltage Vm is equal to the reference voltage Vref during an OFF period of the driving current Vout.

摘要: An abnormality diagnosis device according to the present invention can calculate a calculation air-fuel ratio A/Fk based upon a fuel injection quantity and an intake air quantity, and determine the abnormality of the air-fuel ratio sensor based upon the calculation air-fuel ratio and an actual air-fuel ratio detected by an air-fuel ratio sensor, when an operating condition in the internal combustion engine relatively rapidly changes according to an engine operating demand and thereby the calculation air-fuel ratio relatively rapidly changes. Since the air-fuel ratio is not forcibly changed and fluctuated, deterioration of the exhaust emission and the combustion state, and deterioration of the vibration and the noise at abnormality diagnosing can be certainly prevented.

摘要: It is intended to provide a rapid, simple and noninvasive novel in vivo method for determining phospholipidosis (PLsis) by detecting a PLsis marker gene. More specifically, it is intended to provide a method for determining phospholipidosis in a mammal comprising the step of detecting change in expression of one or more genes whose expression changes correlated with the onset of phospholipidosis in a sample collected from the mammal, in which at least one of the genes comprises a base sequence identical or substantially identical to the base sequence represented by any of SEQ ID NO: n (wherein n is an odd number between 1 and 57, an integer number between 59 and 63, an even number between 64 and 98, 100 or 101.)

摘要: A frequency domain transforming section transforms mixed signals observed by multiple sensors into mixed signals in the frequency domain, a complex vector generating section generates a complex vector by using the frequency-domain mixed signals, a normalizing section generates a normalized vector excluding frequency dependence of the complex vector, and a clustering section clusters the normalized vectors to generate clusters. Then, a separated signal generating section generates separated signals in the frequency domain by using information about the clusters and a time domain transforming section transforms the separated signals in the frequency domain into separated signals in the time domain.

摘要: An object is to estimate the degree of deterioration of an NOx catalyst with improved accuracy in an exhaust gas purification system having the NOx catalyst provided in an exhaust passage. According to the present invention, an NOx sensor is provided downstream of an NOx catalyst, and the difference between an estimated value of the NOx concentration in the exhaust gas in the exhaust passage upstream of the NOx catalyst and a detection value of he NOx sensor at a time when NOx in the exhaust gas is not removed in the NOx catalyst is calculated. In addition, in estimating the degree of deterioration of the NOx catalyst, the estimated value of the NOx concentration in the exhaust gas in the exhaust passage upstream of the NOx catalyst is corrected based on this difference, and the degree of deterioration of the NOx catalyst is estimated based on the difference between this corrected value and the detection value of the NOx sensor.

摘要: To provide a method for enhancing adhesion of a thin film, and a method for enhancing adhesion of a thin film provided with a surface function caused by the shape.Adhesion of a thin film can be enhanced by irradiating the surface of a parent material with a laser beam at a fluence in the vicinity of the machining threshold, scanning the irradiated part while overlapping to form a grating structure, and then forming a solid thin film in the grating structure. When the grating structure formed on the parent material is left on the solid thin film, adhesion of the thin film is enhanced and surface functions, e.g. reduction of friction and wear caused by the shape, suppression of adhesion of fine particles, and cell sensibility, can be exhibited in conjunction with the function of the solid thin film.

摘要: A technique is provided which can specify a member in. which malfunction really occurs when there exists malfunction in at least one of a plurality of state values representing the state of an internal combustion engine. When an amount of fresh intake air is controlled by increasing and decreasing an amount of EGR gas in a feedback manner, and when an amount of fuel to be added to an exhaust gas is controlled based on an air fuel ratio sensor in a feedback manner, a determination is made, based on the result of comparison between output values and command values of members to be detected and corresponding reference values, as to in which member malfunction occurs. Such a determination is based on the fact that relations between output values and command values of the members to be detected and corresponding reference values in individual operating states are different from one another depending on sensors or devices in which malfunction occurs.
