    摘要: A valve chamber is defined in a valve body of the regulating check valve. A first communicating hole and a second communicating hole communicate the valve chamber with a first flow passage and with a the second flow passage, respectively. A valve element is slidably installed in the valve chamber to seat on or lift away from a valve seat to close or open the first communicating hole. A pressure in the first flow passage urges the valve element away from the valve seat, and a pressure in the second flow passage urges the valve element toward the valve seat. The spring is interposed between the valve element and the valve body to urge the valve element away from the valve seat.

The control unit produces a vehicle figure imitating a shape of the vehicle and a tire figure imitating a shape of a tire of the vehicle in a bird's-eye view, calculates a predicted running locus of the vehicle, detects positions of portions of an obstacle facing the vehicle one after another, and controls the display to display a driving support image including the vehicle figure, the tire figure, the running locus and obstacle detecting marks indicating the positions of the obstacle while changing a direction of the tire figure with respect to the vehicle figure according to the steering angle. A driver recognizes a turning rate of the vehicle from the direction of the tire figure.

    摘要: An image correction apparatus, an image correction method and a transformation map making method are disclosed. The apparatus includes an imaging device, a memory section, a corrected image creation section and a display device. The imaging device has an optical axis inclined upward or downward with respect to a ground surface, and captures an image. The corrected image creation section transforms the captured image into a corrected image in accordance with a transformation map stored in the memory section, thereby making a correction on inclination of a display object with respect to a vertical direction. The display device displays the corrected image.

Of the several subcarriers, a subcarrier, which is determined to have an adequate propagation characteristic in the first horizontally polarized wave antenna, is assigned with transmission data. A transmission signal containing the transmission data is thereby transmitted from the first horizontally polarized wave antenna. In addition, of the several subcarriers, a subcarrier, which is determined not to have an adequate propagation characteristic in the first horizontally polarized wave antenna, is also assigned with transmission data in either a second horizontally polarized wave antenna or a vertically polarized, wave antenna. A transmission signal containing the transmission data is thus transmitted from the second horizontally polarized wave antenna or the vertically polarized wave antenna.
