摘要: The present disclosure relates to a corrosion resistant duplex stainless steel (ferritic austenitic alloy) which is suitable for use in a plant for the production of urea; and uses thereof. 摘要: Provided is duplex stainless steel having high strength, SCC resistance and SSC resistance excellent in a high-temperature chloride environment, and capable of suppressing precipitation of a σ phase. The duplex stainless steel of the present embodiment includes, in mass %, of: C: at most 0.03%; Si: 0.2 to 1%; Mn: more than 5.0% to at most 10%; P: at most 0.040%; S: at most 0.010%; Ni: 4.5 to 8%; sol. Al: at most 0.040%; N: more than 0.2% to at most 0.4%; Cr: 24 to 29%; Mo: 0.5 to less than 1.5%; Cu: 1.5 to 3.5%; W: 0.05 to 0.2%; the balance being Fe and impurities, wherein the duplex stainless steel satisfies Formula (1): Cr+8Ni+Cu+Mo+W/2≥65 . . . (1), where a symbol of each element in Formula (1) represents a content of the element (in mass %).

摘要: The present invention provides a high-strength steel sheet excellent in shape fixability. The high-strength steel sheet contains C, Si, Mn, P, S, Al, N, and O with predetermined contents, in which a retained austenite phase of 5 to 20% in volume fraction is contained, an amount of solid-solution C contained in the retained austenite phase is 0.80 to 1.00% in mass %, WSiγ is 1.10 times or more WSi*, WMnγ is 1.10 times or more WMn*, and when a frequency distribution is measured with respect to a sum of a ratio between WSi and WSi* and a ratio between WAl and WAl*, a mode value of the frequency distribution is 1.95 to 2.05, and a kurtosis is 2.00 or more.

摘要: A base material (13) included in a plated steel sheet (1) includes a structure, at a ¼ sheet thickness position, represented by, in volume fraction: tempered martensite: 3.0% or more; ferrite: 4.0% or more; and retained austenite: 5.0% or more. An average hardness of the tempered martensite in the base material (13) is 5 GPa to 10 GPa, and a part or all of the tempered martensite and the retained austenite in the base material form an M-A. A volume fraction of ferrite in a decarburized ferrite layer (12) included in the plated steel sheet (1) is 120% or more of the volume fraction of the ferrite in the base material (13) at the ¼ sheet thickness position, an average grain diameter of the ferrite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 20 μm or less, a thickness of the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 5 μm to 200 μm, a volume fraction of tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 1.0 volume % or more, a number density of the tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 0.01/μm2 or more, and an average hardness of the tempered martensite in the decarburized ferrite layer (12) is 8 GPa or less.

摘要: To provide a heat-treated steel wire having excellent fatigue-resistance characteristics. The heat-treated steel of the present invention has a predetermined chemical composition, with the balance being iron and inevitable impurities, wherein the heat-treated steel wire includes, in a tempered martensite structure at a depth of 0.3 mm from a surface layer: Cr based carbides having a circle equivalent diameter of 0.1 μm or more and less than 0.3 μm in 0.20 particles/μm2 or less, Cr based carbides having a circle equivalent diameter of 0.3 μm or more and less than 0.7 μm in 0.002 particles/μm2 or less, and Cr based carbides having a circle equivalent diameter of 0.7 μm or more in 0.0010 particles/μm2 or less, and wherein the amount of residual austenite exceeds 5% and 15% or less in terms of a volume ratio.

摘要: A steel having a composition containing C: more than 0.20% and 0.45% or less, Si: 0.50% to 2.50%, Mn: 2.00% or more and less than 3.50%, and one or two selected from Ti: 0.005% to 0.100% and Nb: 0.005% to 0.100% is hot-rolled and cold-rolled. The steel sheet is heated to 800° C. to 950° C. and cooled to a cooling-end temperature of 350° C. to 500° C. at a cooling rate of 5° C./s or more to form a steel sheet having a microstructure including martensite and bainite phases such that the total proportion of the martensite and bainite phases is 80% or more by volume. The steel sheet is heated to 700° C. to 840° C. and maintained at 700° C. to 840° C., cooled to a cooling-end temperature of 350° C. to 500° C. at a cooling rate of 5 to 50° C./s, and maintained within the above temperature range for 10 to 1800 s.
