    摘要: A frame assembly and method for mounting a rear main crankshaft seal to a rear region of a crankshaft for a Porsche™. The assembly provides an annular cylinder that firmly encircles a Porsche™ rear main crankshaft seal. The cylinder and the retained seal are configured to press into a crankshaft groove that forms at the rear region of the crankshaft. The cylinder maintains the seal in an annular shape, even after a long duration of use. The cylinder comprises a lubricant that coats the seal. Two brackets fasten the cylinder and the retained seal in a crankshaft groove at the crankshaft. The assembly is specifically designed for: a Porsche Boxter 996™ made in the years of 1997-2010 or a Porsche Carrera 911™ made in the years 2005-2010.

    摘要: A main bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine has first and second half bearings forming an axial groove on an inner circumferential surface of a butting portion. Each half bearing has a main cylinder portion including a central portion, and crush relief portions each extending toward the central portion from an end surface of the half bearing with a center angle of 3° to 15°. A plurality of crush relief grooves are formed in each crush relief portion in the circumferential direction to communicate with the axial groove. An oil groove is formed in the circumferential direction on an inner circumferential surface of the first half bearing. The second half bearing has a transition region having an inward protruding curved surface a wall thickness of which becomes thinner toward the crush relief portion from the main cylinder portion.

    摘要: An oil collection and forced lubrication structure of a model engine has an oil-collecting groove provided at a circumferential wall of a passageway of a crankshaft body. The oil-collecting groove is disposed with a lubrication hole extending to pass through a projecting shaft of the crankshaft body. Thus, when oil gas gets into the passageway of the crankshaft body, the oil gas will be cast by the centrifugal force produced by rotation of the crankshaft body and attached on the circumferential wall of the passageway to be collected and pre-stored in the oil-collecting groove. Then, the oil gas will be cast to the outer circumference of the projecting shaft via the lubrication hole to produce forced lubrication effect between the projecting shaft and a piston rod, thus enhancing lubrication effect, enabling the crankshaft to rotate smoothly and elevating engine efficiency.
