摘要: There is provided a hologram with excellent heat resistance. The hologram comprises a hologram film (10) in which a diffraction grating has been recorder, a substrated (11) situated on one side of the hologram film (10) via a bonding material (13), and a polymer film (12) situated on the other side of the hologram film (10) via a bonding material (13), wherein the thickness of the polymer film (12) is no greater than 100 &mgr;m. Otherwise, the polymer film (12) is subjected to prior heat treatment. There is further provided a production process for holograms with minimal appearance defects. The process comprises preparing a photopolymer (210) coated onto a substrate (211) and affixing the photopolymer surface (301) onto a photographed object original (213), exposing it to laser light to converting it into a hologram (201), then releasing the hologram (201) from the photographed object original (213) to expose the hologram surface (302) and finally affixing a protective film (215) onto the hologram surface (302), such that the bonding strength A between the substrate (211) and the hologram (201) is greater than the bonding strenght B between the hologram (201) and the protective film (215).

摘要: A hologram of an increased size using a single color laser, capable of executing a full color regeneration in a desired view angle and a method for producing the hologram. A plurality of photo-sensitive members are independently exposed to obtain respective holograms, which are connected by using an adhesive layer 80 constructing a connecting means, in order to obtain an integrated hologram expanded in two-dimensional direction. The holograms are obtained by an interference of a reference light 22 and an object light passed through a light diffusing body 24 in order to cause the light diffusing body 24 to be recorded on the photo-sensitive member. The size of the light diffusing body 24 is such that the spectral characteristic of the diffused light from the hologram can attain a desired efficiency at least over the entire wavelength range of the visible light.

摘要: Embossed metallic flakelets have high damage resistance and can be produced readily. A method for production is also provided. The embossed metallic flakelets are produced by dip-coating an organic-inorganic composite layer 12 on upper and lower sides of a carrier layer made of a PVA film or the like by a sol-gel process, and pressing an original embossed pattern 14 having an embossed pattern against the organic-inorganic composite layer 12 under pressure to transfer the embossed pattern onto the organic-inorganic composite layer 12. A sample having the transferred embossed pattern is sintered, to form a metallic film 10 on the organic-inorganic composite layer 12 by deposition or the like. The organic-inorganic composite layer 12 is dip-coated on the metallic film 10 by a sol-gel process, they are sintered, the carrier layer is dissolved in water to separate the metallic film 10 which is held between the organic-inorganic composite layers 12 on the upper and lower sides of the carrier layer, and the separated metallic film 10 is pulverized into embossed metallic flakelets.

摘要: Method and apparatus for monitoring wavelength shift in a holographic light protection filter to determine if the hologram has been damaged by moisture. The hologram is provided with first, second and third areas. The first area is an extra moisture protected area covered by a moisture resistant material. The second area is adjacent to the first area and is recorded at a different wavelength than the bulk of the hologram. The third area is the remainder of the hologram. The user compares light reflections at these specific areas of the hologram and observes color variations to determine if the hologram has been damaged by moisture. In another embodiment, scribe lines are drawn in the hologram through the three areas. The user detects moisture damage by observing the apparent displacement of these scribe lines in the three areas when viewed through a diffraction grating.
