    摘要: Disclosed herein is an outboard motor comprising a propulsion unit including a first member movable vertically to actuate a transmission in response to such vertical movement, a second member rotatably supported by the propulsion unit and adapted to be rotated by an operator either directly or indirectly, and a connection for detachably connecting the first and second members to effect vertical movement of the first member in response to rotation of the second member, which connection includes an aperture in the first member, a stud fixedly extending from the second member for movement in common therewith and received in the aperture, a resilient member fixed to the second member for movement in common therewith and including a part movable relative to the second member between an interfering position wherein the part is engagable with the first member to prevent withdrawal of the stud from the aperture and a spaced position affording removal of the stud from the aperture, a tab connected to the resilient member and adapted for actuation by an operator to deflect the part away from the interfering position, and a stop fixed to the second member for movement in common therewith and for preventing deflection of the part beyond the spaced position in the direction from the interfering position.

    摘要: A manual speed selector of an automatic vehicle transmission in which a line pressure is supplied from a manual valve capable of being changed over by a shift lever to control a plurality of solenoid valves so as to selectively supply hydraulic pressure to frictional engagement devices by shift valves. The shift lever can be moved between an automatic shift mode position and a manual shift mode position, and a transitive position is provided between these two mode positions. At the transitive position, the manual valve is set in a position such as to supply hydraulic pressure to set a neutral state based on the control of the solenoid valves. The shift lever can be immediately moved from this position to directly select any speed in the automatic shift mode or the manual shift mode. The above solenoid valves, a hydraulic control solenoid valve and a lock-up clutch engaging solenoid valve are controlled to enable rapid shifting in the manual shift mode as well as smooth shifting in the automatic shift mode.

    摘要: An automatic speed changing apparatus for a vehicle for automatically controlling speed change in connection with movement of the vehicle, wherein a hold switch (180) for making a designation as to whether a hold processing, i.e., a processing of automatically holding the gear position (speed stage) of a transmission (160) selected at this time point should be executed or not is provided for a controller (130) for the automatic transmission apparatus independently of actuating levers (111, 112) in the form of a select lever or the like so that the controller executes the hold processing in response to actuation of a hold switch. In case where movement of the vehicle is shifted from forward movement to rearward movement and vice versa after the hold switch is actuated, the transmission is once forcibly shifted to a second speed stage (representative of a shift change) when the vehicle starts its movement, and thereafter when the vehicle speed is increased to reach a required speed stage which has been held, the required speed stage is automatically maintained as a result of the hold processing. With this construction, the automatic speed changing apparatus permits a work to be smoothly conducted at a high efficiency for a construction machine such as a wheel loader or the like vehicle.
