摘要： A motorized conveyor roller is provided which includes a mechanism for rotatably mounting a roller tube in a conveyor frame, the roller tube having a length, an inner diameter and a hollow interior. The roller tube has disposed within the hollow interior, a motor and a gear reducer also mounted inside the roller tube operatively connected to the motor. The gear reducer includes an output and a drive member being driven by the gear reducer output to drive said roller. A lubricant is contained within the hollow interior for lubricating and cooling the motor, the gear reducer, the gear reducer output, and the inner diameter of the roller tube. The roller tube has a device for ensuring that the lubricant is uniformily distributed about the inner diameter and length of the roller tube proximate portions of the inner diameter which do not contain the motor, the gear reducer, or the gear reducer output. The temperature of the lubricant and the roller tube across the length of the roller tube is significantly reduced, and substantially uniform as a result of the conveyor roller design.

摘要： A system for the lubrication of a drive chain of a conveyor includes a container precharged with pressurized air and at least partially filled with lubricant. A pressure regulator located within the interior of the container is connected, at one end, to a container outlet and, at the other end, to a conduit for the flow of lubricant. An adjustable needle valve located externally of the container is connected to the conduit for regulating the flow of lubricant. A solenoid valve is connected to the conduit downstream of the needle valve for controlling the flow of lubricant, and a nozzle is located downstream of the solenoid valve for dispensing a lubricant onto the drive chain.

Preferably the treatment liquid is applied to all zones from a single source, and the slugs, upon discharge at least at one zone, remain substantially concentrated. The invention particularly concerns the lubricating of conveyors as in bottling lines.

摘要： A chain spraying apparatus includes a generally circular sprocket having a plurality of teeth secured thereto. A liquid supply tank is supported on the sprocket for rotation therewith. The tank and sprocket are supported adjacent a chain so that the teeth will engage the chain, causing the sprocket and tank to rotate. Spray nozzles are carried by the disc and positioned by the teeth. Each spray nozzle is connected to a mechanical pump which in turn is connected to the liquid supply tank. The mechanical pump includes a cam actuated plunger which reciprocates the plunger when the teeth engage the chain and rotate the sprocket. A flip-up flag indicator and an agitator are provided.

摘要： The invention is a unique connector for joining the juxtaposed ends of the shafts of two adjacent conveyor idler rolls. The shaft ends are provided with diametrically extending pivots. The connecting link comprises a continuous or endless loop of relatively rigid high strength material folded over to form two pairs of spaced but parallel gudgeons, each pair of gudgeons forming a clevis. One clevis loopingly or pivotably engages the pivots attached to one idler shaft, and the other clevis similarly engages the perpendicularly aligned pivots attached to the other shaft. In one embodiment, a trunnion nut having colinearly extending pivot stubs and a threaded central opening, is screwed onto the end of each shaft. Optionally, a flexible grease tube can be passed from one shaft end through the connector to the other shaft end to provide flow-through lubrication capability.
