    摘要: This invention relates to a method to improve 1,1,3-trichloropropene (HCC-1240za) and/or 3,3,3-trichloropropene (HCC-1240zf) selectivity in the dehydrochlorination of 1,1,1,3-tetrachloropropane (HCC-250fb). In normal practice, FeCl3 is used as the catalyst for the dehydrochlorination of HCC-250fb to produce 1,1,3-trichloropropene and/or 3,3,3-trichloropropene. Here the improvement comprises, using as the starting material, a mixture comprising HCC-250fb and Heavies generated from the reaction of CCl4 and ethylene to produce HCC-250fb, wherein the Heavies comprise one or more tetrachloropentane isomers. These compounds reduce or eliminate the formation of unwanted high boiling compounds (HBCs).

The process involves reacting CH2ClF with CClF═CF2 in an addition reaction zone in the presence of an aluminum halide composition having a bulk formula of AlClxBryF3-x-y wherein the average value of x is 0 to 3, the average value of y is 0 to 3−x, provided that the average values of x and y are not both 0. Also disclosed is a process for making CH2FCF2CF3 that involves reacting the CH2ClCF2CClF2 with HF in a fluorination reaction zone in the presence of a fluorination catalyst. Also disclosed is a process for making CHF═CFCF3 that involves dehydrofluorinating the CH2FCF2CF3.

    摘要: A solid catalyst used in, for example, production of a perfluoroalkyl iodide telomer is effectively and continuously recovered and the recovered catalyst is continuously recycled to the reactor for reuse. A slurry containing a reaction product and the catalyst is drawn from the reaction system, and the catalyst in the drawn slurry is classified by means of a hydrocyclone, whereby a high-concentration slurry whose catalyst concentration is higher than that of the drawn slurry and a low-concentration slurry whose catalyst concentration is lower than that of the drawn slurry are obtained, and the high-concentration slurry is recycled to the reaction system.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for the synthesis of 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene which comprises, in one embodiment, reacting a compound of CF3X1 with a compound of CX2H═CHX3, wherein X1, X2, and X3 are each independently selected from the group consisting of fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodine, to produce a reaction product comprising a compound of CF3CH═CHX3, wherein X3 is as described above; and when X3 is not fluorine, fluorinating the compound to produce 1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene. The process in another embodiment comprises preparing tetrafluoropropene comprising thermally cracking one or more compounds capable of producing a reaction mixture which preferably comprises diflurocarbene radicals and vinylidene fluoride, and converting said reaction mixture into—tetrafluoropropene (1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene).

    摘要: There is provided a process for recovering tetrafluoroethylene wherein an amount of energy required to obtain TFE is reduced.In the process for producing a TFE mixture as an intended mixture which contains TFE at a higher concentration from a raw material mixture (10) which contains TFE, a component of which boiling point is lower than that of TFE and a component of which boiling point is higher than that of TFE,(1) the raw material is subjected to a preliminary distillation treatment (12) so as to obtain (a) a first fraction (15) which contains at least a portion of the component of which boiling point is higher than that of TFE and (b) a second fraction (14) as the balance which contains TFE and the component of which boiling point is lower than that of TFE, and then(2) the second fraction is subjected to a main distillation treatment (16) so as to obtain (c) a third faction (20) formed by distilling off the component of which boiling point is lower than that of TFE, and (d) a fourth fraction (18) as the intended mixture being the balance which contains TFE.
