摘要: A fluoroelastomer mixture is provided with a fluoroelastomer that contains at least approximately 50 parts by weight of the fluoroelastomer mixture and further contains one or more mineral fillers in an amount of approximately 2 parts by weight to approximately 80 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the fluoroelastomer. The amine-resistant fluoroelastomer is a copolymer of 1,1-difluoroethylene and 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene or a terpolymer of ethylene, tetrafluoroethylene, and perfluoro(methyl vinyl ether). The mineral fillers improve abrasion and/or wear properties of the fluoroelastomer mixture. A seal is provided with the fluoroelastomer mixture. A shaft seal ring is provided that has a seal body provided with the fluoroelastomer mixture.

Further disclosed herein are a process for producing the polyamide composition (PC), a process for producing a moulded article by forming the polyamide composition (PC), a moulded article including the polyamide composition (PC), and a method of using the at least one carbon black (B) in a polyamide composition (PC) for increasing the shrinkage of moulded articles made from the polyamide composition (PC).

摘要: Reaction mixtures, foams prepared from the reaction mixtures, articles containing the foams, and methods of making the foams are provided. The polymeric material in the foam is formed from a polymerizable composition that includes a di(meth)acrylate oligomer and a monomer having a single ethylenically unsaturated group. The foams are highly filled (e.g., at least 60 volume percent of the foam is the filler) and can be thermally conductive. Although the foams contain a large amount of filler, the foams can be compressed at least 40 volume percent with an applied pressure of 50 pounds per square inch (345 kiloPascals).
