    摘要: Low-cost techniques for sensing ambient temperatures in a container or package using phase change materials are provided. In one aspect, a temperature sensor is provided. The temperature sensor includes: at least one phase change material configured to transition from an amorphous state to a crystalline state upon exposure to temperatures above a predetermined threshold temperature for a given duration. A method of monitoring temperature exposure of a consumer good using the temperature sensor is also provided.

An analog output value of the sensor is input to the analog input terminal of the AD conversion unit via the reference voltage switching unit and is converted into a digital value.

    摘要: A temperature detection circuit is provided with a temperature measuring circuit, a computing circuit, a temperature monitoring circuit, and a diagnostic signal generation circuit. The temperature measuring circuit outputs, to a measurement node, a temperature measurement voltage corresponding to a temperature. The computing circuit, calculates the temperature on the basis of the temperature measurement voltage. In the cases where the temperature measurement voltage is within a predetermined abnormal voltage range, the temperature monitoring circuit validates an abnormality detection signal indicating a temperature abnormality. When fault diagnosis of the temperature monitoring circuit is carried out, the diagnostic signal generation circuit supplies a diagnostic signal to the measurement node, and changes the temperature measurement voltage.

    摘要: An example method includes outputting, by a device, a first current through a temperature sensor that is that is external to the device; determining, by the device and based on a voltage drop across the temperature sensor while the first current is flowing through the temperature sensor, a current level; outputting, by the device, a second current at the determined current level through the temperature sensor; determining, by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) of the device, a value that corresponds to a voltage drop across the temperature sensor while the second current is flowing through the temperature sensor; outputting, by the device, a third current through a reference resistor that is external to the device; and determining, based on the value and a voltage drop across the reference resistor while the third current is flowing through the reference resistor, a temperature of the temperature sensor.
