Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydraulic height adjusting device for installing a heavy-weight structure to secure stable horizontal bearing power against a horizontal load of a heavy-weight upper structure. The present invention includes a lower frame which is installed on a top surface of the carrier and is provided with a plurality of receiving portions formed in an upwardly opened shape; and a hydraulic cylinder which is disposed in and engaged to the respective receiving portions of the lower frame, the hydraulic cylinder being moved in a vertical direction to adjust the height of the upper structure, in a state in which an upper end thereof supports the upper structure. The receiving portion is provided with a support guide which is interposed between an inner wall of the receiving portion and the hydraulic cylinder to annually enclose the hydraulic cylinder and thus prevent the hydraulic cylinder from being tilted.

Abstract:
A cold-adapted protease derived from Pseudoalteromonas arctica PAMC 21717 or a recombinant cold-adapted protease obtained by expressing a gene encoding the cold-adapted protease in E. coli is described, and more particularly, a crystal of a protease exhibiting activity at low temperatures, a method for crystallizing the protease, a method for preparing the protease, a recombinant microorganism that expresses the protease, a method for preparing the recombinant microorganism, a method for preparing the recombinant protease and the use of the cold-adapted protease. The cold-adapted protease exhibits high activity at low temperatures, and securely maintains its enzymatic activity even in the presence of high pH, various metal ions and surfactants. Thus, it is useful in various industrial applications.
Abstract:
This invention relates to amphiphilic hydrogel particles for antifouling paint, which are environmentally friendly and in which anti-corrosion and antifouling effects can be maximized through a single coating process. The amphiphilic hydrogel particles are fabricated by encapsulating conducting polymer particles having anti-corrosion functionality with functional nanoparticles having antifouling functionality and then immobilizing the functional nanoparticles on a hydrogel matrix, whereby the conducting polymer particles contained in the functional nanoparticles are slowly and continuously released or the release rate thereof can be controlled so as to release the corresponding particles in a specific environment, ultimately maintaining long-term functionality. The conducting polymer particles contained in the amphiphilic functional nanoparticles can exhibit anti-corrosion functionality, thus maximizing anti-corrosion and antifouling effects through a single coating process.

Abstract:
By mooring or slowly moving the catamaran in a current through which a garage patch formed of disused plastic particles over than 90% is drifting, a heap of the marine debris flows into the bow of the catamaran and then is smashed. While the disused plastic particles that have been smashed at the bow of the catamaran is moving from the bow toward the stern by way of the tunnel between hulls of the catamaran, the plastic particles are first classified by differences of densities. These first classified plastic particles are collected and then transferred into a narrow and long inside of the catamaran, being finally classified by a triboelectrostatic action. Thereafter, these finally classified plastic particles are made to be pallets which are to be transported to a land facility for recycling or abandoning them.
