Abstract:
A printer may include a printhead assembly a clutch assembly, and/or a printer ribbon transport assembly. The printhead assembly may include a printhead biasing assembly defining a biasing ramp which may be configured to apply a biasing force to a printhead support bracket so as to at least partially counteract a ribbon force. The clutch assembly may be configured to supply or take-up a printer ribbon with first and second spool engagement members of different diameters that frictionally engage first and second friction members. The printer ribbon transport assembly may include a rotation lock mechanism configured to prevent rotation of a ribbon take-up core when the take-up core is disengaged from a drive assembly so as to prevent a loss in ribbon tension.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus supporting multiple carriers is provided. A user equipment receives a self-control format indicator (CFI) indicating a size of a control region of a first carrier by using the first carrier. The user equipment receives downlink control information (DCI) comprising a cross-CFI indicating a size of a control region of a second carrier over a first downlink control channel in the control region of the first carrier. The user equipment monitors a second downlink control channel in the control region of the second carrier.
Abstract:
A method of authenticating a Personal Network Entity (PNE) is provided. The method includes transmitting a PNE serial number (SNPNE) to a CPNS (Converged Personal Network Service) server by a Personal Network GateWay (PN GW); storing an authentication value chain of a PNE transmitted from the CPNS server and an inherent assignment key (TKPNE) that is secret information of a corresponding PNE; encrypting a selected authentication value from among the authentication value chain with the inherent assignment key of the corresponding PNE to transmit the encrypted authentication value to the corresponding PNE and storing the encrypted authentication value in the corresponding PNE; and performing an authentication procedure between the corresponding PNE and the CPNS server by using the encrypted authentication value stored in the PNE.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transceiving Physical hybrid-ARQ indicator channel in a wireless mobile communication system using multi-carriers is disclosed. This method comprises a first reception step of receiving signaling information indicating that a number (N1) of first downlink channels allocated to the first frequency band is 0 through the second frequency band, and a decision step of deciding the number (N1) of first downlink channels allocated to the first frequency band to be 0.
Abstract:
A light emitting module includes a plurality of light emitting device packages configured to be sequentially turned on or off according to the level of external drive voltage and connected to one another in series. Each of the plurality of light emitting device packages includes a light emitting cell having at least one light emitting device, and an on/off controller configured to control to turn the light emitting cell on or off.
Abstract:
A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which group communications of various types with a conversation group can be performed in various ways can be performed in a manner of forming the group of conversation with at least two counterpart terminals using an image including at least two character pictures. The method includes displaying an image including at least two character pictures on a display unit of the mobile terminal, if the at least two character pictures in the image are selected, searching a memory of the mobile terminal for contact information respectively related to the selected character pictures, forming a conversation group with the searched contact information, and performing group communication with the conversation group.
Abstract:
Antenna switch modules and methods of making the same are provided. In certain implementations, an antenna switch module includes a package substrate, an integrated filter, and a silicon on insulator (SOI) die attached to the package substrate. The SOI die includes a capacitor configured to operate in the integrated filter and a multi throw switch for selecting amongst the RF signal paths. In some implementations, a surface mount inductor is attached to the package substrate adjacent the SOI die and is configured to operate in the integrated filter with the capacitor. In certain implementations, the inductor is formed from a conductive layer of the package substrate disposed beneath a layer of the package substrate used to attach the SOI die.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display (LCD) includes a cover assembly; a liquid crystal panel; a light guide plate configured to guide light to the liquid crystal panel; a printed circuit board (PCB) to which the light guide plate is mounted; and a light emitting diode (LED) package which is mounted on the PCB and emits light to a lateral side of the light guide plate. The PCB includes a base substrate; a connecting hole which is formed in the base substrate to couple the base substrate to the cover assembly with a connecting member; an insulating layer which is coated on the base substrate while avoiding a head part of the connecting member; and a spacer tape which is provided on an upper side of the insulating layer so that the light guide plate is evenly mounted on the PCB.
Abstract:
