Abstract:
An apparatus for receiving service guide fragments is discussed. The apparatus includes a receiver to receive service guide fragments, the service guide fragments including a content fragment describing content data in broadcast services, the content fragment including a content element, the content element including an identification attribute of the content fragment, and a version attribute of the content fragment, the content fragment further including a PrivateExt element which is used for content level extensions, the PrivateExt element including a component element describing components in the content data, the component element including an audio component element, a video component element, and a closed caption component element, the audio component element describing a role of an audio component in the content data, the video component element describing a role of a video component in the content data, and the closed caption component element describing a role of a closed caption component in the content data; and a decoder to decode the service guide fragments, and a displayer to display service guide information on a screen. Further, the service guide information is represented based on timeline information, channel information for the broadcast services, and program information for the content data, and the channel information is displayed with capability information.
Abstract:
A method of receiving broadcast signals is provided. The method includes receiving the broadcast signals and decoding a service layer table including bootstrap information from the received broadcast signals. The bootstrap information indicates an MPEG Media Transport Protocol (MMTP) session carrying service layer signaling. The method further includes decoding the service layer signaling from MPEG Media Transport (MMT) packets based on the MMTP and decoding a transport session description from a Real-Time Object Delivery over Unidirectional Transport (ROUTE) session. In addition, service components are delivered by the MMT packets based on MPEG Media Transport Protocol, and non-real time components are delivered by Layered Coding Transport (LCT) packets in the ROUTE session. The service components delivered in the MMT packets and the non-real time components delivered in the LCT packets are decoded, respectively.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for transmitting a broadcast signal. A method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: delivery layer processing broadcasting service data and signaling information for the broadcasting service data; UDP/IP encapsulating the broadcasting service data and signaling information for the broadcasting service data; and physical layer processing the broadcasting service data and signaling information for the broadcasting service data.
Abstract:
A method for receiving a broadcast signal includes receiving the broadcast signal including physical layer signaling data, signaling data, content data and service guide information, decoding the physical layer signaling data, wherein the mapping information and the information supporting channel scanning and service acquisition are further decoded from the signal frame based on the decoded physical layer signaling data; decoding the content data and the service guide information; displaying an image representing that the alternative camera view is available for the broadcast service; detecting a user input selecting the displayed image for the alternative camera view; and displaying the video component for the alternative camera view on a display screen.
Abstract:
A broadcast receiving apparatus receiving a broadcast signal is disclosed. The broadcast receiving apparatus includes a broadcast receiving unit configured to receive a broadcast signal and a controller configured to receive electrical service guide (ESG) data including information about a broadcast service guide based onbased on the broadcast signal and to acquire information about a component included in at least one of a broadcast service and broadcast content based onbased on the ESG data.
