Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of receiving information at a user equipment configured with a serving cell in a mobile communication system, and the method comprises activating the serving cell; receiving a first signal from a base station, the first signal including timing advance group assignment information for the serving cell; and deactivating the serving cell if the timing advance group assignment information indicates a second timing advance group different from a first timing advance group assigned to the serving cell.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for moving carried out by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises estimating mobility status of the terminal, detecting a neighboring cell, calculating an expected dwell time in the neighboring cell which is detected, determining whether to set an adaptive mobility condition on the basis of the expected dwell time, and moving on the basis of the adaptive mobility condition when the adaptive mobility condition is determined to be set.
Abstract:
A method for receiving a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising acquiring, by the UE, a predetermined system information block (SIB) from a base station (BS); and upon acquiring the predetermined SIB, transmitting an MBMS interest indication message by the UE to the BS. The predetermined SIB includes information related to MBMS service continuity. Whether the transmitting of the MBMS interest indication message is allowed is provided to the UE through the predetermined SIB.
Abstract:
Operation of a user equipment (UE) with various timers is discussed. According to this scheme, when the UE receives values for each of timers related with a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation from a network, the UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from subframe n+1 to subframe n+X based on a first timer among the above mentioned timers when a first event for starting the first timer occurs at the subframe n, and monitors the PDCCH from subframe n to subframe n+X−1 based on a second timer among said timers, when a second event for starting the second timer occurs at the subframe n.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for establishing a device-to-device (D2D) connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A first mobile device may transmit an identity of a network node to a second mobile device. In this case, the first mobile device and the network node are connected by a first connection, and the first mobile device and the second mobile device are connected by a second connection. Or, a base station may transmit information on a D2D connection between mobile devices which are connected to the base station, to a neighboring network node. The information on the D2D connection includes at least one of information on the mobile devices, and a D2D mode.
Abstract:
A method for connecting with a network at a user equipment in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving system information from a cell; and if an uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using an band indicator included in the system information, configuring the cell as a barred cell. Also, the method further includes performing a connection re-establishment procedure with the network after configuring the cell as the barred cell, if the uplink carrier frequency of the cell is not calculated using the band indicator.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for scheduling uplink (UL) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a backoff parameter from a network, and determines whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter before transmitting a scheduling request (SR) to the network via a dedicated channel. Whether or not to apply the received backoff parameter is determined according to a prioritized access, and the prioritized access corresponds to one of emergency access, high priority access, control element/information in media access control (MAC), radio link control (RLC) or packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), data radio bearer (DRB) for voice/video service, signaling radio bearer (SRB) 0, SRB 1, SRB 2, multimedia telephony service (MMTEL)-voice, MMTEL-video, and voice over long-term evolution (VoLTE).
Abstract:
Provided is an operating method for acquiring system information which is to be performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: transmitting, to a serving cell, a system information acquisition failure report message that requests the transmission of compulsory system information; operating a system based on the acquired compulsory system information upon the acquisition of the compulsory system information as a response to the system information acquisition failure report message; and performing a connection recovery upon the failure of the acquisition of the compulsory system information as a response to the system information acquisition failure report message.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing service-specific access control in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) acquires different sets of barring information for a voice application, a video application and other application, and decides whether or not access is allowed according to the sets of barring information for the other application if an application except the voice application and the video application is offered.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting an indication in a wireless communication is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits a first indication indicating at least one of first information and second information, starts a timer, and transmits a second indication if the first information included in the first indication is changed while the timer is running.
