    摘要: A rearview correcting/controlling system for a vehicle includes: a rearview obtaining device for providing a rearview to an occupant on a driver's seat; a drive device for driving the rearview obtaining device to change a view angle of the rearview provided by the rearview obtaining device; and a control device for controlling the operation of the drive device. The control device controls the operation of the drive device to vertically change the view angle of the rearview obtaining device based on a value detected by a forward/rearward inclination detecting device. Thus, even when the forward/rearward inclination of the vehicle occurs, a rearview at an optimal view angle can be obtained.

    摘要: A novel photochromic liquid crystal comprising a diarylethene compound having both photochromic properties and liquid crystallinity. This compound is a photochromic diarylethene compound having a mesogen group in each of the two aryl groups. The photochromic liquid crystal provides a large change in birefringence by photoisomerization or phase transition, and has high durability against repeated changes in birefringence. A side-chain polymer liquid crystal containing the above photochromic liquid crystal is useful as an optical recording material. Such an optical recording material is capable of performing light modulation by irradiation with light near Tc thereof, and is applicable to photo operator devices, optical memories, and the like. Further, the optical recording material is useful as a material for a recording layer of an optical recording medium such as an optical disk or an optical memory card.

    摘要: A burst signal receiver that performs efficient signal conversion when burst optical signals received from various terminals differ in intensity. In a PON system, a photodiode is used to receive burst signals from subscriber terminals (ONUs). An OLT system informs a light-sensitive circuit of subscriber terminals (ONUs) that transmit burst signals, the order in which the burst signals are transmitted, and the timing for burst signal reception. A controller for the light-sensitive circuit uses a gain control table to obtain a gain and reference voltage for each subscriber terminal (ONU). In relation to the electrical current output from the photodiode, the controller converts the burst signals to digital signals using a gain and reference voltage with the reception timing indicated by the OLT system.

    摘要: Provided are a latent curing agent that gives an epoxy resin composition with improved storage stability and low-temperature curability; and a curable epoxy resin composition prepared by mixing the said curing agent and an epoxy compound. The epoxy resin composition has improved storage stability, and cures at lower temperatures for a shorter period of time than conventional ones. The latent curing agent for epoxy resin comprises two components, (A) a radically polymerized polymer of a monomer having at least a polymerizable double bond, which has at least a tertiary amino group in the molecule, and (B) a polymer having at least a hydroxyl group in the molecule, and forms a solid solution that is solid at 25° C.

    摘要: Single coil to be excited by a predetermined A.C. signal is provided, with no secondary coil being provided. Magnetism-responsive member is movable relative to the coil so that a self-inductance of the coil progressively increases or decreases in response to displacement of an object to be detected within a predetermined range and a voltage of the coil corresponding to the self-inductance is produced. Predetermined reference voltage is generated and subjected to analog operations with the coil output voltage, to thereby generate first and second A.C. outputs having, as amplitude coefficients, first and second cyclic amplitude functions correlated to the position to be detected. The position is detected on the basis of the phase component of the amplitude coefficient functions. Combination of two coils and one reference voltage may be employed. Further, a plurality of coil segments excitable by a same-phase signal are placed in series along the direction of displacement of the object so that a progressive increase or decrease occurs sequentially in the self-inductance of the coil segments as the magnetism-responsive member moves relative to the coil segments, and the voltage corresponding to the self-inductance is taken out from each of the coil segments. Performing analog arithmetic operations on combinations of the coil voltages produces first and second A.C. outputs having, as amplitude coefficients, first and second cyclic amplitude functions correlated to the position to be detected.

    摘要: A switching power source apparatus reduces power loss and improves conversion efficiency of a switching power source part by rectifying and smoothing a commercially available alternating power source supplied to an oscillation drive circuit and a switching circuit part that constitutes a half-bridge circuit. An output of the half-bridge circuit is grounded via a resonance capacitor, a choke coil, and a primary winding of an insulated type converter transformer. This converter transformer has a secondary winding for obtaining a +B voltage and high-voltage windings for obtaining a high-level output voltage. Further, fluctuation in the voltage of the high-level output voltage is supplied to the oscillation drive circuit via resistors, a control circuit, and a photo-coupler, whereby the switching circuit part is controlled. The secondary winding is connected in series to a saturable reactor, so that by controlling the inductance of this saturable reactor, the +B voltage taken out from the secondary winding is controlled.

A switching series circuit has first and second switching elements connected in series at a common switching junction, the switching series circuit being connected in parallel to the smoothing capacitors. A first saturable transformer has a first saturation coil, a first control coil and a first gate drive coil, and a second saturable transformer has a second saturation coil, a second control coil and a second gate drive coil. A first gate control circuit interfaces the first gate drive coil with the first switching element to effect turn on and off and a second gate control circuit for interfacing the second gate drive coil with the second switching element to effect turn on and off alternately with turn on and turn off of the first switching element to effect continuous oscillation. A current source for driving the first and second control coils to control saturation of the first saturable transformer and the second saturable transformer to effect control of a frequency of the continuous oscillation.
