摘要: A data center includes a server, which hosts a plurality of virtual machines, and an information processing device. The information processing device is configured to receive from a user terminal device, which is communicatively connected to the data center, a usage request for the use of a service executed by one of the plurality of virtual servers for a finite period of time. The finite period of time occurs within a first time period. The information processing device is configured to calculate a cumulative usage fee for the usage request based on the finite period of time included in the usage request, a previous usage duration time of the service by the user terminal device, and a usage fee per unit time associated with the previous usage duration time. The information processing device is configured to output the predicted cumulative usage fee.

摘要: Technologies for converting mobile communications network billing records include a billing record converter system. The billing record converter system receives a data usage billing record associated with a mobile computing device communicatively coupled to a long term evolution wireless communications network. The received data usage billing record is formatted according to a real-time data usage billing record format. The received data usage billing record is converted into a new data usage billing record formatted according to a roaming data usage billing record format that corresponds to a legacy wireless communications network. The new data usage billing record is transmitted to a billing system of the legacy wireless communications network for processing. In some embodiments, the billing record converter system cumulates and converts multiple data usage billing records associated with the mobile computing device into the new data usage billing record. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: An indicator for a device may provide an indication that a threshold associated with a budget for a network resource has or will be reached. When a user requests a network operation that will consume the network resource, an amount of the network resource to be consumed by the operation is predicted, if possible. If the prior use of the network resource and the amount to be used to complete the network operation exceeds a threshold the user may be warned and given an opportunity to cancel the operation or adjust the way in which the operation will be performed. If the amount of network resource a network operation will consume is unknown, a rate of use of the network resource is determined and a time until the budget is reached is estimated.

摘要: A method and system for implementing a multimedia call are provided. The method includes: after receiving a calling request from a VoIP client, a calling controller transmitting the calling request to an application server; the application server acquiring rate options of calling respective called numbers by the VoIP client and returning the rate options to the calling controller, wherein the respective called numbers comprise one or multiple numbers registered by and/or bound with a called party of the calling request; the calling controller transmitting the rate options to the VoIP client, and suspending call handling of the calling request; and, after receiving a rate option selected by the VoIP terminal among the rate options, the calling controller transmitting the rate option selected by the VoIP terminal to the application server, resuming the call handling, and connecting a call between the VoIP client and a called terminal of a called number corresponding to the rate option selected. The disclosure shows the rate of the call before connecting the call, thereby improving user experience.

摘要: An environment is described in which a processing system provides application-level usage information to users. In one scenario, for example, the processing system may provide personal usage information to a user who is operating a user device. The personal usage information itemizes the amount of data (and/or other resources) that has been consumed by each application run by the user device. In another scenario, the processing system may provide expected usage information associated with at least one candidate application provided by a marketplace system. The expected usage information describes an expected consumption of data (and/or other resources) by the candidate application upon running the candidate application by the user device. The processing system can tailor the expected usage information that it sends to a particular user based on user profile data. The user profile data describes a manner in which users operate applications.
