摘要: A single shot inductor is provided to induction heat treat closely spaced multiple eccentric cylindrical components arranged along the longitudinal axis of a workpiece. The single shot inductor has multiple planar arcuate single turn coil sections separated from each other by an axial coil section so that each of the multiple planar arcuate single turn coil sections sequentially heat treats the closely spaced multiple eccentric cylindrical components inserted within the single shot inductor.

摘要: The present invention relates to a superconducting magnet apparatus using movable iron core and induction heating apparatus thereof. The superconducting magnet structure is composed by including a pair of superconducting magnets and a pair of movable iron cores which are symmetrically located with respect to the heating target product located between the superconducting magnets and a part of which move through the cutouts of the superconducting magnets. And the distance from the superconducting magnets is adjusted by moving the movable iron cores. Further, the present invention manufactures an induction heating apparatus by using the superconducting magnet structure.

摘要: Various embodiments provide an apparatus and methods for containing the molten materials within a melt zone during melting. The apparatus may include a vessel configured to receive a material for melting therein and an induction coil with unevenly spaced turns along its length. Induction coil can have a series of turns acting as a first (e.g., load) induction coil and a series of turns acting as a second (e.g., containment) induction coil. The material in the vessel can be heated and contained by the separated turns of the induction coil. A plunger can also assist in containing material during melting. Once the desired temperature is achieved and maintained for the molten material, operation of the induction coil can be stopped and the molten material can be ejected from the vessel into a mold using the plunger.

摘要: The induction coil unit for heating a component that is rotationally symmetrical relative to an axis (7), in particular a tool holder (5), comprises a plurality of coils (19) arranged about the axis (7) of the tool holder (5) with pole elements, which are movable radially with respect to the axis (7), which are connected to one another by a common yoke ring (17). Upon excitation of the coils (19) with alternating current, the latter produce a magnetic flux running in the peripheral direction in the tool holder (5) for the inductive heating of the tool holder (5). The induction coil unit (1) can be moved in an oscillating manner by means of a drive (87) in the direction of the axis (7), the pole elements (21) moving in an oscillating manner along the tool holder (5). An induction coil unit of this type is in a position to heat a comparatively large region of the tool holder (5) despite a comparatively small energy requirement and comparatively small dimensions.

The first magnetic field is greater than the second magnetic field.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to an induction annealing apparatus adapted to anneal cartridge cases to improve their reusability. In one implementation, the apparatus includes a power supply unit and a plurality of annealing units, each including a magnetic core having ends separated by an air gap. An induction coil is wound around the magnetic core to generate a magnetic field in the air gap. A cartridge case holder holds the cartridge case such that the neck of the cartridge case is positioned in one of the air gaps. The power supply unit selectively connects to the annealing units to supply power for a predetermined length of time, and the size of the air gap of the magnetic cores of each of the annealing units may differ. In other implementations, the size of the air gap may be adjustable, and a temperature sensor or a ferrite stake may be included.
