摘要: The electric lamp has a lamp vessel (1) having an end portion (3) which is fixed inthe lamp cap (5) by means of polyethersulphone (8) as a thermoplastic synthetic resin, which has adhered both to the lamp vessel and to the lamp cap. The end portion (3) has non-circular cross-sections where it is in contact with the synthetic resin (8) due to projections (10) projecting into the synthetic resin (8). A current supply wire (11) can be clamped between the synthetic resin (8) and the sheath portion (6) of the lamp cap (5) in order to establish electrical contact therewith. The lamp can be assembled by arranging in the hot state of the end portion (3) a polyethersulphone ring (8) around this end portion (3) and by providing the lamp cap (5) in the hot state around the polyethersulphone ring (8). 摘要: There is disclosed a technique for providing resynchronization for message reception in digital transmission systems, and particularly in digital frequency hopping systems employing data framing techniques. In the transmission of framed data using known digital techniques for frequency hopping systems, synchronization is provided in frames preceding the message frames transmitting digital data. In addition, resynchronization information is transmitted in subsequent frames which are interspersed with data frames including the message data. A predetermined number of frames is set to provide all the resynchronization information so that once those frames have been detected, a receiver will have acquired resynchronization during message transmission. This technique allows improved signal acquisition by providing an opportunity following the first conventional synchronization frame to acquire synchronization or to reacquire synchronization during message transmission.

摘要: A digital signal of n-bit words N.sub.i is enciphered into an enciphered signal of n-bit words R.sub.i. In an enciphering unit, a logic circuit delivers each enciphered word R.sub.i through a logic operation g performed on the word N.sub.i and on an n-bit, stored, enciphering word P.sub.i-l. An addressing circuit formulates an address word A.sub.i-l having a bits fully or partly belonging at least to the preceding enciphered word R.sub.i-l. A memory of 2.sup.a predetermined P.sub.i-l words is read by each address word A.sub.i-l to supply a corresponding word P.sub.i-l to the logic circuit for it to perform the g operation such that R.sub.i =g(N.sub.i, P.sub.i-l). A deciphering unit receives the enciphered words R.sub.i for formulating the address words A.sub.i controlling reading of the corresponding words P.sub.i out of 2.sup.a stored words. Each deciphered word N.sub.i is obtained by a logic operation h, referred to as contrary to g, performed on the enciphered word R.sub.i and on the stored word P.sub.i-l, such that N=h(R.sub.i, P.sub.i-l). The memories can be programmed by a computer, which, as per a predetermined algorithm, computes a table of words P.sub.i for a given key.

摘要: An electrically operated lamp that includes an elongate, transparent envelope having two tubular legs extending outwardly in the same direction from the ends thereof, the legs being substantially normal to the longitudinal axis of the envelope. At least one elongate refractory element that may be brought to incandescence by passage of an electric current therethrough is longitudinally disposed within the envelope and is at all times maintained in tension by two electric current-conducting springs at least partially housed within the legs. The lamp is particularly adapted for use with light block assemblies to produce an elongate zone of illumination of substantially uniform intensity through which multiple channel punched cards or punched tape pass. A light from this zone passes through openings in the cards or tape to actuate a lightsensitive receptor. The possibility of one or more channels of coding or decoding being lost due to individual lamp failures is eliminated, when a lamp of the present invention is used as a source for the zone of uniform light intensity. This zone extends transversely across the punched card or tape as the card or tape moves through a predetermined position.

摘要: A busbar is placed on an anvil, and a core wire of a cable is placed on the busbar. While the core wire is pressed onto the busbar using a horn chip, ultrasonic vibration is given to the core wire to join the core wire to the busbar. The horn chip has two flat portions and a recessed portion located between the flat portions. When the core wire is pressed onto the busbar using the horn chip, each of the flat portions and the busbar sandwich a part of the core wire therebetween while the recessed portion and the busbar put a remaining part of the core wire therebetween. Each of the sandwiched parts of the core wire does not reach an outer end of the corresponding flat portion to leave a space between the corresponding flat portion and the busbar.

摘要: To provide a display device that is suitable for increasing in size, a display device in which display unevenness is suppressed, or a display device that can display an image along a curved surface. The display device includes a first display panel and a second display panel each including a pair of substrates. The first display panel and the second display panel each include a first region which can transmit visible light, a second region which can block visible light, and a third region which can perform display. The third region of the first display panel and the first region of the second display panel overlap each other. The third region of the first display panel and the second region of the second display panel do not overlap each other.
