Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a system for managing and using history information of terminals in a Converged Personal Network Service (CPNS) environment. The system includes a CPNS server for collecting and storing access information and history information of mobile communication terminals and end devices which transmit and receive information over a wireless local area network, and, if the previously stored history information is requested while a CPNS service is active between a mobile communication terminal and an end device, extracting the corresponding information, and providing the extracted information to the mobile communication terminal and the end device, the mobile communication terminals each for, while using the CPNS service, performing a CPNS service-related procedure using the history information received from the CPNS server, and the end devices each for, while using the CPNS service, performing a CPNS service-related procedure using the history information received via the mobile communication terminal.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of transceiving a bit stream, by which a video bit stream is stably transmitted by the effective use of two logic channels when communication is established by the two logic channels during transmission of the video bit stream in a communication network, is provided. In this method, a source is encoded into a bit stream using a predetermined type of coding. Then, the encoded bit stream is transmitted to each communication protocol layer, while the header of each communication protocol layer is added to a payload. The header is transmitted separately from the bit stream.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a method of preparing trans fat-free oils and fats by an enzymatic interesterification (EI), and trans fat-free oils and fats prepared by the method. Specifically, the method comprises the steps of: 1) mixing fully hydrogenated fat derived from vegetable oil with RBD olive oil; 2) adding lipase to the mixed oil and reacting the mixed oil with lipase at 65 to 80° C. for 1 to 4 hours (1st reaction step); and 3) reacting the mixed oil from step 2) with the lipase at 40 to 60° C. for 44 to 47 hours (2nd reaction step).
Abstract:
An organic electroluminescent display device includes an organic light-emitting diode, a first transistor outputting a data voltage by an nth scan signal (n is a natural number), a second transistor providing a current to the organic light-emitting by the data voltage, a capacitor storing the data voltage, and a third transistor supplying the second transistor and the capacitor with a pre-charge voltage by an (n−1)th scan signal, the pre-charge voltage having an opposite polarity to the data voltage.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for sharing a channel among coordinator-based wireless networks are provided. The method includes a coordinator of a first wireless network selecting a channel through which data are transmitted and received, selecting a period during which the channel is in a sleep period, setting the selected period as an active period of the first wireless network, and transmitting data containing information about the active period to the first wireless network.
Abstract:
A device and method of controlling content transmission, and a device and method of providing content. The method of controlling content over a network includes generating a control command using a stateless protocol so that an AV content providing device controls transmission of an AV content using a connectionless protocol and transmitting the generated control command to the AV content providing device. Accordingly, when AV content is transmitted through RTP over a network, the content is controlled by a stateless protocol such as HTTP instead of a state protocol such as RTSP. Thus, RTP is easily supported by an effective content control method.
Abstract:
A method for communication between first and second coordinator-based wireless networks connected through a backbone network is provided. The method includes receiving a frame indicating data transmission containing information needed for remote channel time allocation (CTA) from a repeater connecting the second coordinator-based wireless network with the backbone network, sending a remote CTA frame in order for the repeater to request CTA from the coordinator within the second coordinator-based wireless network, and receiving a data frame originated from the first coordinator-based wireless network and then provided by the repeater during assigned channel time.
Abstract:
A telephony service system employing a cable network and a telephony service method. The system includes a directory unit, a plurality of network segment units each including a headend unit, and a plurality of routers respectively formed in each network segment unit. The directory unit stores the IP address corresponding to a telephone number of a first cable phone. The plurality of network segment units each having a headend unit read IP addresses stored in the directory unit based on a received telephone number of a second cable phone, and determine a connection audio session using an Internet protocol from the read IP address to set a call path with the first cable phone. The plurality of routers set a call path between the network segment units. According to the cable network of a packet type, unlike a PSTN network of a switch network, the local call charge is reduced. A wide bandwidth of the cable suppresses deterioration in quality of audio service of the cable network, which may be caused by compression or delay in the PSTN network.
