摘要: A refrigeration unit (40) having a defroster (30) has a refrigeration compartment (44), an evaporator coil (26) having an amount of crystallized water being aggregated thereon from air and a thermo-electric module (32, 46, 48, 50) having a semiconductor material. The thermo-electric module (32, 46, 48, 50) provides heating from a first location of the thermoelectric module (32, 46, 48, 50) and cooling from a second location of the thermo-electric module (32, 46, 48, 50) based on a Peltier effect when a current from a power supply is traversed through the thermo-electric module (32, 46, 48, 50). The heating from a first location heats the evaporator coil (26) to defrost the aggregated amount of crystallized water thereon. The cooling from the second location is communicated to the refrigeration compartment (44).

摘要: A project management server automatically monitors the progress of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project represented by developing business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server maintains a set of data representing a previous status of the development of business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server requests a new set of data from the ERP system. The new set of data represents the current status of the development of business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server automatically compares the two sets of data to determine the progress of the ERP project, generates a report showing the progress and updates the old set of data with the new set of data.

摘要: An instruction cache (I-Cache) for a processor is configured to include a Branch Target Extension associated with each Instruction Sector. When an Instruction Sector is fetched, the Branch Target Extension is simultaneously fetched. If the Instruction Sector has a branch instruction that is predicted taken, then the branch target address in the branch extension is used to access the next Instruction Sector. In other embodiments, each Instruction Sector has a plurality of Branch Target Extensions each corresponding to a potential branch instruction in an Instruction Sector. In this case, the Branch Target Extensions are partitioned into an instruction index field for locating branch instruction in the Instruction Sector, a local predictor field for predicted taken status and a target address field for the branch target address. The least significant bits of the instruction fetch address are compared to the instruction indexes to determine a particular Branch Target Extension to use.

摘要: An image capturing apparatus and a focusing method thereof are provided. The image capturing apparatus includes a flatbed, a light source, an optical sensing unit, a focusing unit and an adjuster medium. The flatbed is used for carrying an object. The light source is used for illuminating the object to output an optical signal. The optical sensing unit is used for sensing the optical signal to output an electrical image signal. The focusing unit is disposed between the flatbed and the optical sensing unit. The adjuster medium is configured between the object and the optical sensing unit for adjusting the object distance or the image distance, such that the focusing unit focuses the optical signal on the optical sensing unit to generate an electrical image signal.

摘要: In one embodiment of the invention, a test structure far testing the sufficiency of tunnel opening sizes in a non-volatile memory cell includes N write paths aligned substantially in parallel, each of the write paths beings individually programmable and M floating gates, each of the floating gates overlapping each of the multiple write paths to form a N column-by-M row array of Intersecting areas. An N column-by-M row array of tunnel openings is formed in the intersecting areas and between the floating gates and write paths, with the tunnel openings in each array column being of a same size and the tunnel openings in each array row being of different sizes. A read path coupled to the M floating gates is operable to detect a programmed write path if the tunnel openings formed over the programmed write path are of sufficient size to successfully couple the M floating gates to the programmed write path.

摘要: A method for replicating a nanopattern is disclosed. This method includes identifying a substrate; coating a surface of the substrate with a liquid layer; positioning a mold having a plurality of recesses defining a negative of the nanopattern in sufficient proximity with the coated liquid layer to cause the liquid layer to self-fill at least a portion of the plurality of recesses of the mold; and, chemically transforming the liquid layer to enable the transformed film to substantially retain the nanopattern.
