Abstract:
A data control apparatus is structured to execute complementary recording on one pixel array by dividing the scans of a recording head into four. In a nozzle context memory, the nozzle context data, which can be updated, are stored as control data to determine discharge or non-discharge of ink from discharge ports. In an operational circuit, the nozzle context data and image data are processed operationally, thus outputting drive data for the recording head. The data that indicates ink discharge in one pixel array are sequentially assigned to recording data per scan appropriately by use of the nozzle context data and the operational circuit. With the structure thus arranged, it is possible to implement making the capacity of memory smaller for use of data to control recording or non-recording, and also, to execute an intermittent recording by controlling recording or non-recording as required.
Abstract:
In order to provide a semiconductor device of high reliability which suppresses a degradation of the fatigue strength of solder connection portions and warping of a tape-type wiring substrate forming the cause of the inferior contact between solder bumps and an external substrate, and a method of manufacturing the semiconductor device, a frame-like member is disposed on the inner peripheral part of the tape-type wiring substrate so as to relax constraint on the thermal deformation of the tape-type semiconductor substrate.
Abstract:
A shoulder anchor structure capable of reliably absorbing energy when a predetermined large load acts thereon and also capable of adjusting its energy absorption characteristic according to vehicle model. The shoulder anchor structure includes an energy absorbing member having a pair of deformation amplifying portions formed thereon. The deformation amplifying portions ensure a predetermined displacement stroke of an intermediate portion of the energy absorbing member. Further, the deformation amplifying portions can deform so as to absorb a load acting on an occupant during a secondary collision. Accordingly, there is no fear of separation of the energy absorbing member from a pillar inner panel before a predetermined amount of energy is absorbed. This makes it possible to reliably absorb the load acting on the occupant during the secondary collision.
Abstract:
The center line average roughness (Ra) of the slit inner surfaces is made in a predetermined range of 5.0 .mu.m according to the present invention, and the straightness (W1) in the delivery direction of the coating solution thereof and the straightness (W2) in the perpendicular direction to the delivery direction thereof are made in predetermined ranges respectively in preferred embodiments. Thereby, development of wrinkles and inclined elongation in the tape itself are prevented when wound on a roll, the productivity is increased, and the product quality is improved.
Abstract:
When gas is generated in an emergency situation of a vehicle and a cylinder is driven, one of wires rotates a pulley via a small diameter portion of the pulley. For this reason, the other wire connected to a large diameter portion of the pulley has a length wound around the large diameter portion, which is longer than that of the one wire. A drive stroke of the cylinder is increased and transmitted to a seat belt buckle. As a result, even if the cylinder is of a small size, a long pulling stroke is applied to a seat belt.
Abstract:
An information display apparatus which accumulates arbitrary information inputted to a television receiver from the outside, superimposes the information in a memory on an ordinary video signal and displays the superimposed image on a television display in accordance with a calender timer built in the television receiver. A remote control unit is provided for inputting information to the information display apparatus from the outside. Memories are disposed in the information display apparatus and the remote control unit for accumulating arbitrary information. A calender timer is provided for serving as a reference for displaying information are also disclosed. Arbitrary information inputted from the outside can be displayed on a television display at a previously appointed date.
Abstract:
In a technique in which a thermosensitive recording paper and a recording head are arranged in contact with each other and a voltage is applied to the recording head in accordance with an image to be recorded while the recording paper being transferred by a motor, striped lines, so-called blanks, where no image is recorded, appear because of a delay on starting the motor. The present invention solves this problem by delaying the timing of the image recording by the amount of the delay in starting the motor.
Abstract:
A thermal transfer printer including a thermal head for generating heat in accordance with a desired print pattern, a platen having a surface for supporting an ink-sheet and paper, the ink-sheet and paper being pressed by the thermal head on the platen surface so that ink from the ink-sheet is transferred to the paper, a paper supply for storing and supplying paper, an ink-sheet supply and drive for storing and supplying an ink-sheet, the ink-sheet supply and drive driving the ink-sheet to move in accordance with the movement of the paper, a paper drive arranged between the platen and the paper supply, the paper drive driving the paper by the required length according to the position of the paper relative to the position of the platen, and a paper tension device for applying suitable tension to the paper at least between the platen and the paper drive so that the length by which the paper drive drives the paper is identical with the length by which the paper moves on the platen. Since the length by which the paper moves on the platen corresponds only to the length by which the paper drive drives the paper, the length by which the paper moves on the platen can be correctly controlled through the paper drive.
Abstract:
A pluri-tubular aerator includes a vertical central tube member, at least one outer tube member disposed concentrically around said central tube member, and at least one of an diffuser and an air tank disposed on an lower end of the aerator for delivering externally supplied air into the central tube member or a space between the central and outer tube members. The diffuser produces a continuous stream of fine air bubbles while the air tank intermittently produces a bulky air bubble of either a spherical shape or a ring-shape. Preferably, the diffuser and the air tank are used concurrently.
Abstract:
An air/fuel control system for a supercharged automotive engine includes a supercharger for supercharging air to be supplied to the engine, a detecting device for detecting a plurality of parameters representative of an engine operating condition, an air/fuel ratio regulating unit for adjusting the air/fuel mixing ratio to an arbitrarily chosen predetermined value, and a control unit for controlling the air/fuel ratio regulating unit. The control unit is designed to cause the air/fuel ratio regulating unit to adjust the air/fuel mixing ratio to a predetermined value higher than the stoichiometric value when the detecting device indicates that the engine is in a normal operating condition while the supercharger is operated, and also to adjust the air/fuel mixing ratio to a predetermined value lower than the stoichiometric value when the detecting device indicates that the engine is under an operating condition in which a relatively high engine power output is required.
