Abstract: A computer transforms content of a composite table into structured data objects. The computer receives a composite table and identifying a data zone characterized by data columns, and a header zone. The computer identifies first header cells arranged coextensive with a single data column and second header cells arranged coextensive with a set of data columns. The computer generates a hierarchical representation of said header cells, based at least in part, on the header cell arrangements. The computer generates a revised table based on the hierarchical representation, with the first header cells identifying a data column and the second header cells identify a first header cell. The computer generates structured data objects representing the zones and being arranged based, at least in part, on the revised table and where the structured data objects are keyed to the first header cells.

Abstract: Operation of a multi-slice processor that includes execution slices and a dispatch network of the multi-slice processor implementing a hardware level transfer of an execution thread between execution slices. Operation of such a multi-slice processor includes responsive to a thread switch signal: halting dispatch of one or more instructions retrieved from an instruction cache; generating a plurality of instructions to transfer an execution thread from a first execution slice to a second execution slice; and dispatching the plurality of instructions instead of the one or more instructions retrieved from the instruction cache; and transferring, in dependence upon execution of the plurality of instructions from the thread switching instruction generator, the execution thread from the first execution slice to the second execution slice.

Abstract: In an example, a method of repairing a pipeline includes isolating a section of a pipeline that includes a leak site. The method includes flooding the section of the pipeline with a plug formulation that includes artificial platelets and an ultraviolet (UV) photoinitiator. The section may be pressurized to induce migration of the artificial platelets to the leak site. The method also includes draining excess plug formulation from the section of the pipeline. The method further includes exposing the UV photoinitiator to UV light to form a gas impermeable seal at the leak site.

The process for forming the flame-retardant polymer can include reacting an aconitic acid derivative with a flame-retardant phosphorus-based molecule to form a functionalized flame-retardant aconitic acid-derived molecule, and combining the functionalized flame-retardant aconitic acid-derived molecule with a polymer. The material in the article of manufacture can be a resin, plastic, polymer, or adhesive, and the article of manufacture can further comprise an electronic component.

Abstract: An epoxy-based resin system composition includes a latent functionality for polymer adhesion improvement. The composition may be used to produce an overcoat layer and/or protection layer in an anti-sulfur resistor (ASR). In some embodiments, the composition include epoxy-based resin(s), hardener(s) and, optionally, blowing agent(s) and/or filler(s). An epoxide functionality of one or more of the epoxy-based resin(s) and a reactive functionality of one or more of the hardener(s) react with each other at a first temperature. The latent functionality, which does not react at the first temperature, is contained in at least one of the epoxy-based resin(s), hardener(s) and filler(s) and reacts in response to another stimulus (e.g., UV light/initiator and/or a second temperature greater than the first temperature) to enhance chemical bonding. Optionally, voids created via etching and/or the blowing agent(s) may be used to enhance mechanical bonding, alone, or in combination with filler(s) exposed in the voids.
