    摘要: The object of this invention is to provide a plasma display panel in which an aging process essential to the manufacturing process generates minimal phosphor deterioration, enabling a relatively high luminous efficiency and high quality color production to be produced. To achieve this object, the aging process takes place while gas generated inside the panel is evacuated. Alternatively, after completion of the aging process, the phosphor of the whole panel is heated to restore heat deterioration.

    摘要: In a plasma display panel, a partition wall defining a discharge space is formed of a thermal-sprayed film formed by thermal spraying of a partition wall material. A process for forming such a partition wall includes the steps of forming a photosensitive coating layer on a substrate; forming an opening having a prescribed pattern in the photosensitive coating layer; depositing the partition wall material to a prescribed height at least inside the opening by a thermal spraying technique, thereby forming the thermal-sprayed film; removing a portion of the thermal-sprayed film bulging out from a surface of the photosensitive coating layer by polishing; and removing the photosensitive coating layer to obtain the partition wall having a prescribed shape.

    摘要: The present invention concerns a cathode ray display tube in which the layers of a scattered electrons suppressing material are formed on the surface of a metal back layer on a phosphor layer and the inner surface of a funnel part. Each of the scattered electrons suppressing material layers on the surface of the metal back layer and on the inner surface of the funnel part is formed with an amount per unit area within specific ranges. The scattered electrons suppressing material layer is provided to form a laminated layer which is composed of lamina shaped graphite particles with a diameter which is ten times or more as large as a thickness and an average particle size in terms of spherical volume not more than 2 .mu.m. The scattered electrons suppressing material layers reduce unnecessary light emission due to scattered electrons and improve the contrast of a display image. A projection display system providing a display image with high contrast can be constituted by using the cathode display tubes.
