Abstract:
A lockable electric power cord adapter has a unitary housing containing male plug blade receiving member therein wherein each blade receiving member has a pivotable locking member mounted thereon. The blade receiving member has a hole therein for allowing a barbed end of the locking member to pass therethrough and engage a hole in the male plug blade in the locking position. An actuator has actuating lugs thereon which pivot the locking members to an unlocked position when the actuating member is pushed against a biasing spring.

Abstract:
A stacking device and system. A stacking device can include a stacking surface having a configuration for supporting a supported article of manufacture stacked on top of the stacking surface. The stacking device further can include a support surface opposite the stacking surface. The support surface can have a configuration for direct communication with a supporting article of manufacture below the support surface.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a coating composition, a method of coating molded articles with the coating composition, and the molded articles so coated, particularly molded articles comprised of thermoplastic or thermoelastic plastics. The coating, in the form of a cured thin layer, is particularly optically clear, scratch-resistant, and weather-resistant. It is produced on the plastic substrate material by polymerization of a layer of flowable coating comprised of the coating material, which layer contains polyfunctional (meth)acrylic monomers, and said layer further contains, as a "leveling" agent, fluoroalkyl (meth)acrylates of formula I ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents H or CH.sub.3, and R.sub.2 represents a fluorine-containing alkyl group with 2-20 C atoms.
Abstract:
A method for the solvent dewaxing of wax-containing petroleum products with at least one solvent suitable for dewaxing and a polymeric dewaxing aid comprising polyacrylates, by mixing the products to be dewaxed with the solvent and the polymeric dewaxing aid, chilling the mixture so obtained, and separating the precipitated wax, the dewaxing aid used being a mixture of(I) a polymer of esters of acrylic acid with C.sub.10 -C.sub.40 alkanols and(II) a polymer of esters of methacrylic acid with alkanols comprising more than 10 weight percent of branched alkanols, the weight ratio between components (I) and (II) ranging from 1:20 to 20:1.
Abstract:
A fuse (10) is proposed for interrupting a voltage and/or current-carrying conductor (12) in case of a thermal fault, having a conductor bar (14) ensuring an electrically conductive connection of the voltage and/or current-carrying conductor during correct operation, said fuse (10) being characterized in that the conductor bar (14) melts upon an increase in temperature above the melting point, and the electrically conductive connection of the voltage and/or current-carrying conductor is interrupted due to inherent surface tension. Also proposed is a method for producing the fuse (10) according to the invention.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a mixer device for distributing and evaporating a liquid introduced into a gas flow, in particular into an exhaust-gas flow, wherein the mixer device comprises at least one mixer vane (14a) which influences the flow direction of the gas flow. The mixer vane has a first vane (14a′) portion and a second vane portion (14a″) which are arranged in series in the flow direction of the gas flow, which vane portions are designed so that the first vane portion diverts the gas flow approaching the mixer device such that said gas flow has a first swirl component imparted thereto, and so that the second vane portion subsequently diverts the gas flow such that said gas flow has a second swirl component imparted thereto, wherein the first swirl component and the second swirl component oppose one another.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods for reconstituting and relates to reconstitution devices suitable for reconstituting many different materials. Furthermore, the present invention includes methods of treatment and methods of use related to a reconstitution device or apparatus. Some embodiments are suitable for reconstituting small amounts of a pharmaceutical compositions and using the pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of sexual dysfunction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of ester group-including polymers having at least one nonpolar segment P and at least one polar segment D, where the polar segment D includes at least 8 repeating units, and the proportion of dispersing repeating units in the polar segment D is at least 30% by weight based on the weight of the polar segment D, as antifatigue additive in lubricants.
