摘要: A solenoid spool valve includes a spool valve, a spring, and an electromagnetic actuator. The spool valve has a generally cylindrical sleeve provided with a fluid input port and a fluid output port and a spool supported in the sleeve for axial displacement to switch between said input and output ports. The spring abuts a first working face of said spool to energize said spool in a first axial direction. The electromagnetic actuator provides an axial drive force to a second working face of said spool in a second axial direction that is substantially opposite to said first axial direction. The first and second working faces are disposed axially inside of both axial end portions of a bearing, respectively, for slidably supporting said spool in said sleeve.

摘要: An exhaust gas purifying apparatus is provided for a motorcycle, configured to minimize engine output characteristics, and to raise the temperature of a catalyst to an activation temperature rapidly after a start of the engine, while not increasing a vehicle body size. The motorcycle includes an engine in which a cylinder block is extended upward on a crankcase. An exhaust port is provided on a front portion of the engine; an exhaust pipe extends forward of the engine from the exhaust port, then extends downward once, and thereafter, extends toward the rear of a vehicle body. A catalyst is placed in the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe passes along a side of the cylinder block, and the catalyst is placed in the exhaust pipe in a position located on the side of the cylinder block.

摘要: An electromagnetic spool valve includes a spool valve, an electromagnetic actuator, and a bracket. The spool valve includes a cylindrical sleeve and a spool. The cylindrical sleeve includes an input/output ports for fluid to flow through. The spool is axially slidable in the sleeve. The electromagnetic actuator is fixed to the spool valve for axially driving the spool. The bracket is welded to the electromagnetic actuator. The spool valve is disposed in a fixing member and is fixed thereto by a tightening member tightening the bracket welded to the yoke to the fixing member. Either the bracket or the electromagnetic actuator includes a stopper contact portion for contacting a part of the other to prevent the electromagnetic spool valve from being removed from the sleeve insertion hole.

摘要: This is a printing terminal that reads and processes printer specification information and EMF files from a portable recording medium. The specific structure is as follows. Specifically, output contents are recorded on the portable recording medium by a drawing command that does not exist in the output device, and an EMF file that has printer specification information in the header is recorded. When the printing terminal detects that the portable recording medium is connected, it does a matching comparison of the printer identification information that the printing terminal has with the printer specification information of the header of the EMF file recorded in the portable recording medium. When the printer specification information and the printer identification information match, the printing terminal reads the EMF file from the portable recording medium and prints.

摘要: Provided is a nitride semiconductor device with high reliability and high flexibility in design and manufacture of the device. The nitride semiconductor device comprises a seed crystal portion (11) formed on a sapphire substrate (10) and having a mask (12) on one side surface thereof, and a GaN layer (15) grown on the sapphire substrate (10) and the seed crystal portion (11) through epitaxial lateral overgrowth. The GaN layer (15) is grown only from an exposed side surface of the seed crystal portion (11) which is not covered with the mask (12), so the lateral growth of the GaN layer (15) is asymmetrically carried out. Thereby, a meeting portion (32) is formed in the vicinity of a boundary between the seed crystal portion (11) and the mask (12) in a thickness direction of the GaN layer (15). Therefore, as the meeting portion (32) is formed in a position away from the center between the adjacent seed crystal portions (11) in a direction parallel to a surface of the substrate, a width WL of a lateral growth region is larger with respect to a pitch WP of the seed crystal potion (11), compared with conventional configurations.
