摘要： A new surface finishing process for stainless steel where beautiful, bright and milky white coloured surface is obtainable even for such grades as high carbon containing 13 chromium steel and high sulfur containing free cutting stainless steel is disclosed. After removing the surface scale, (1) immerse the stainless steel into the 1st treating solution containing nitric acid: 5-40 g/l, hydrofluoric acid: 2-10 g/l and Fe(III) ion: 15-40 g/l for 5-180 sec., then rinse in water, (2) and successesively immerse into the 2nd treating solution containing nitric acid: 120-250 g/l, Fe(III) ion: 15-40 g/l for 30-300 sec., then rinse in water.

摘要： A thermistor layer made of platinum is formed on a thin diamond film. An amount of heat carried away from the diamond film by a fluid is detected as a change in the temperature of the thermistor layer. The rear side of the diamond film is kept in contact with the fluid to prevent the material of the thermistor from being corroded by the fluid. In another aspect of the invention, a heating element and a thermistor are formed on one surface of a thin diamond film. The other surface is kept in contact with a fluid. The diamond film is heated by the heating element in a quite short time of about 0.2 second. The resulting response characteristics of the diamond film are detected by the thermistor. The flow rate is calculated from the response characteristics.

摘要： When the absolute values of the negative voltage V− and the positive voltage V+ of a rectangular wave to be applied to the three phase coils of the motor driven using a rectangular-waved voltage are different, time T1 and time T2 for the rectangular wave are adjusted such that the area A representing the absolute value of a time integration value of the negative voltage V− and the area B representing the absolute value of a time integration value of the positive voltage V+ becomes equal to each other. With this adjustment, the average voltage of the rectangular wave becomes of value 0, so that a DC component current is prevented from flowing into the three phase coils of the motor.

摘要： A device main body is formed portable, which includes (i) an information writing/erasing section which erases information recorded in a liquid crystal paper and returns the liquid crystal paper into an initialized state in which information recording is possible, and records information previously stored in the device main body into the initialized liquid crystal paper as required, and (ii) a sheet holding section which holds the liquid crystal paper in such a manner that the liquid crystal paper can be transported to an information erasure position and an information recording position in the information writing/erasing section and that the liquid crystal paper is curved at portions thereof other than those at which information recording and erasing is carried out. With this, it is possible to provide an information recording device with improved operability, such as improved portability and capability of easily reading out information at any place.

摘要： A filter apparatus has a current-detecting coil. The coil detects a high-frequency leak current flowing from the phase-windings of a motor to the earth terminal through the closed case of a compressor. A current-canceling circuit generates a current similar in waveform to the high-frequency leak current detected by the coil. The current thus generated cancels out the high-frequency leak current.

摘要： A network system for copiers includes a plurality of copiers each provided with a communication device for communicating with external equipment and a power-on device for powering on the copier in a hold state in response to an external signal received by the communication device and a main controller including an operation controller for controlling operation of the copiers and a time setter for setting time to power on a copier, the main controller being connected to the copiers by a network. The operation controller executes control such that only predetermined one of the copiers is powered on at the power-on time set by the time setter.

摘要： A headphone apparatus includes a speaker unit accommodated in an accommodating member of an open-air type, a microphone disposed at a front side of the speaker unit, a circuit arrangement mounted on a circuit board in the speaker unit including a filter for lowering a level of a high frequency component of a signal picked up by the microphone, and a negative feedback loop for feeding back an output of the filter to the speaker unit to thereby lower the level of a low frequency component of circumference noise output from the speaker unit. This headphone apparatus further includes an equalizer having a frequency characteristic substantially opposite to that of the filter, wherein an input audio signal is added to the negative feedback loop through the equalizer and then output from the speaker unit.

An additional improvement in the anticorrosion property of the stainless steel can be obtained by further adding thereto one or more of 0.1%-1.0% Ni, 0.03%-1.0% Cu, 0.05%-0.5% W, 0.05%-0.5% V and 0.05%-1.0% Zr and/or one or both of 0.001%-0.03% Ca and 0.001%-0.03% Ce.
