摘要: Colors of images and videos are modified to make differences in the colors more perceptible to colorblind users. An exemplary recoloring process utilizes a color space transformation, a local color rotation and a global color rotation to transform colors of visual objects from colors which may not be distinguishable by the colorblind user to colors which may be distinguishable by the colorblind user.

摘要: The present invention relates to a magnesium compound-supported nonmetallocene catalyst, which is produced by directly contacting a catalytically active metallic compound with a nonmetallocene ligand-containing magnesium compound, or by directly contacting a nonmetallocene ligand with a catalytically active metal-containing magnesium compound, through an in-situ supporting process. The process is simple and flexible. In the process, there are many variables in response for adjusting the polymerization activity of the catalyst, and the margin for adjusting the catalyst load or the catalyst polymerization activity is broad. The magnesium compound-supported nonmetallocene catalyst according to this invention can be used for olefin homopolymerization/copolymerization, in combination with a comparatively less amount of the co-catalyst, to achieve a comparatively high polymerization activity. Further, the polymer product obtained therewith boasts high bulk density and adjustable molecular weight distribution.

摘要: A system and method for trapping electron assisted magnetic recording is disclosed. A magnetic recording system comprises a magnetic storage media, a read/write head, and a power supply for applying a negative DC electrical bias to the magnetic storage media in order to reduce the media switching field during the writing process. Recording is performed by applying an AC magnetic field produced by a write pole and a DC electrical field to assist in the writing. An embodiment of the invention uses a high electrical field to trap free electrons into an unfilled electronic shell of magnetic particles of the magnetic storage media, in particular, (3d) shell of transition elements, (4f) shell of rare earths of lanthanides series, and (5f) shell of actinides series. The trapped electron decreases anisotropy of magnetic particles due to reduced number of Bohr magnetron. As a result, a conventional head is able to write very high anisotropy magnetic storage media.

摘要: Described are a system and method for broadcasting write requests to a plurality of graphics devices. A different address range of graphics device addresses is associated with each graphics device of the plurality of graphics devices. A controller receives a write request directed to a memory address and generates a plurality of graphics device addresses based on the memory address of the write request when the memory address is within a particular range of broadcast addresses. An offset may be applied to a reference address in each address range associated with one of the graphics devices when generating the plurality of graphics device addresses. The write request is forwarded to each graphics device of the plurality of graphics devices associated with one of the generated graphics device addresses.

摘要: Techniques for the reading and writing of data in multi-state non-volatile memories are described. Data is written into the memory in a binary format, read into the data registers on the memory, and “folded” within the registers, and then written back into the memory in a multi-state format. In the folding operation, binary data from a single word line is folded into a multi-state format and, when rewritten in multi-state form, is written into a only a portion of another word line. A corresponding reading technique, where the data is “unfolded” is also described. The techniques further allow for the data to be encoded with an error correction code (ECC) on the controller that takes into account its eventual multi-state storage prior to transferring the data to the memory to be written in binary form. A register structure allowing such a “folding” operation is also presented. One set of embodiments include a local internal data bus that allows data to between the registers of different read/write stacks, where the internal bus can used in the internal data folding process.
